Under construction and big mess
Pros:

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. There was no mention during the booking process that the hotel was under renovation. When we arrived, the entire building was full of dust, construction noise, and workers moving around, which made the environment quite unpleasant.
Another major inconvenience was that the food was served in a different building across the street. In normal circumstances this might be manageable, but during our stay the temperature was around –25°C, so having to go outside and cross the street for meals was very uncomfortable, the lack of prior information about the renovation and the difficult conditions made the stay quite frustrating.

Pros:

Aamupala oli erittäin loistava, ja huone muutenkin oli tarpeisiin sopiva.

Cons:

Siin remontista olisi voinnut ilmoittaa varauksen yhteydessä. Ravintola oli kiinne jne. Minulla ei ollut mitään tietoa siintä, vasta sitten selvisi kun saavuimme paikalle.

Jag varit en trogen gäst på detta hotell sedan många år tillbaka, men är tveksam att bo där igen.
Pros:

Frukosten var i en annan byggnad eftersom hotellet byggdes om. Naturligtvis bättre då restaurangen, baren och frukostmatsalen fanns inne i hotellet förr.

Cons:

Tycker att priserna på övernattning borde ha rabatterats under denna ombyggnadstid. Förutom ovannämnda med avsaknad av restaurang, bar, frukostmatsal ... så hördes det tidvis hårt slammer på många ställen och i trapporna var det rejält smutsigt av byggdamm och smuts efter arbetsstövlar eftersom de som arbetade med byggnaden även använde samma trappor som hotellgästerna. Smutsiga plastskynken var uppsatta i korridorerna. Inte bra !!!

Tasokasta majoittumista merellisessä ympäristössä.

Aivan uusi remontoitu huone.

Cons:

Varasin Booking.comin kautta saunallisen sviitin. Kun saavuimme hotelliin, meille kerrottiin ettei huonetta voida luovuttaa sillä sen saunan kiuas on rikki.
Näin ainoa vaihtoehto oli ottaa pienempi, saunaton huone samaan hintaan.
Meitä toki hyvitettiin skumppapullolla ja meille yritettiiin järjestää saunaa, siinä kuitenkaan onnistumatta.
Asiakaspalvelu oli kuitenkin hyvällä tasolla kaikesta huolimatta.

Nobler Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage

Guter Überblick zum Hafen. Gemütliches großes Bett. Die Ausweichalternative im Congress-Zentrum zu frühstücken war sehr gut: reichhaltiges Frühstück!

Pros:

Very good breakfast. Wide selection and all the things I tried were tasty. Karelian pies with egg spread especially. Super location for our needs. Ferry, tram stop, 24h store right there. City center in walking distance even for kids. Good beds. Clean.

Cons:

It did not bother us but it was surprising that breakfast was served across the road on different building, not in hotel. Don't know if it's like this all the time or due construction works at the hotel. But really, not a big issue
