Greenway Manor

Was not able to enter upon arrival, and no answer at door, or doorbell. No answer on the phone, and messages were full, so unable to contact anyone. Complained to Booking.com and they were unable to contact the property either, then cancelled the reservation. I was contacted by the owner out front before leaving to find another hotel. The owner explained that they had e-mailed me that morning telling me how to access the building, with door codes, but I don’t check my e-mail on vacation, and was driving all day and would never be able to check anyway. Once checked in, there was no TV in the front room, and a small one in the bedroom. However, the bedroom has no place to sit. No table, no chair, so I had to lay on the bed in an uncomfortable position to watch TV. The TV had no cable or dish service. Only ROKU, which I’m not familiar with, and gave no streaming services to use. The shower was a small pedestal tub, with a shower curtain that completely enveloped the small tub, making it almost impossible to get in and out through an 18” gap in the curtain. The shower head didn’t work, and I had to shower with a hand held which sprayed everywhere when I had to lay it down to shampoo. The inoperable shower head was too low to stand under without banging my head, and the tub too small to move back in. There was no contact with anyone in charge, so impossible to lodge a complaint or ask a question. There was a horrible storm that night, which is not their fault, and power was out for over 3 hours, which again was not their fault, but no lights, no AC no TV, no phone charging for 3 hours of my 15 hour stay, without anyone to contact made the stay even worse. Along with wasting 1 1/2 hours out front in 93 degree weather waiting for the proprietor or Booking.com to help just cut further into my time in my room.

This property is false advertising. This property is Greenway House not Greenway Manor. Same street different propety. The TV did not work.

Could not figure out how to use the tv to stream…no tv service to the tv. I didn’t really have any time to watch anything.
Would love to have an indoor place to gather…

Add a grab bar for the tub/shower combo to make it safer.

beds weren't great. Steep stairs for us old folks.

De badkamer. Een hoog bad op pootjes met daaromheen een hele lading douchegordijnen die aan mijn lichaam bleven plakken wat een onprettig gevoel gaf.
Als ik de berichtjes van de accomodatie had gelezen was er tussen de gastvrouw en mij helemaal geen contact geweest. Dat voelt voor mij onwelkom.

Needs additional cutlery and dishes in kitchen area.

Dogs barking throughout the night, difficult to sleep, strong cleaning odors, but we were able to open windows to clear

I did not like the decoration of the room, or the inaccessibility of the shower facility.

Could not get into the property with the PIN code provided. No staff were present. No one answered phone calls

Everything was great!

No towels provided in the bathroom, sheets weren't comfy, and we comfy close the curtain at night due to ac under the window
