Excellent hotel near Negombo and Colombo airport
Pros:

Hotel was close to the airport but not noisy, set in wonderful quiet grounds, ideal for an evening walk away from the mad traffic! We had a room on the 3rd floor, very spacious with a good sized bathroom. Shower was excellent! Breakfast was buffet style and lots of choice. We ate in both restaurants and had good meals both times. The swimming pool was large, clean and there were very few people there! Changing rooms were close by the pool so you didn't have to wander through the hotel in swimming gear and there was a gym next door. Denzil from the tour desk gets our particular thanks! He arranged a tour of Negombo for us and while we were out, he sorted out our return flights for us, as we had explained that our original return flights had been cancelled. The manager, the reception staff and the duty manager, Chaya were all wonderful and helpful. Thank you everyone!

Very close to the airport with restaurant choices.
Pros:

They have a buffet and a Chinese Restaurant that were both open for our choice for dinner. We left very early for the airport so missed sany breakfast opportunity. This is very close to the airport.

Close to airport but too noisy
Pros:

Close to the airport

Cons:

Hôtel very noisy : you can expect plane noises but not only. Because most of the airplanes crew sleep in this hotel, rooms are cleaned up during the night too.
We have been waking up at 4am by someone cleaning up the room next door when we actually arrived late at night.
There was plenty of Moscitos in our room also.
Also breakfast is very late (not before 7am) … surprisingly for a hotel so close to airport.

Okay for a Short Stay, Hotel in Need of Updates
Pros:

A mixed experience. The entrance is lovely with palm trees, but the hotel doesn’t match the photos online. The check-in staff seemed disinterested, though the bellhop was friendly, and juice, cookies, and fruit upon arrival were appreciated.

The hotel is basic and in need of updates. The bed was comfortable, but the furniture had dings and scratches, the couch had stains, and there was mold on the window covering. Hallways on our non-smoking floor smelled faintly of stale cigarettes.

Dinner was excellent, and all restaurant staff were helpful, though breakfast lacked flavor. Okay for a short stay near the airport.

Pros:

Big property, big pool, close to the airport, helpful staff, a nice modern and spacious room in the new wing of the hotel.

Good stay if you need something close to the hotel.
Pros:

The hotel has ok facilities (in line with expectations) and it is close to the airport. If offer food variety even if the quality is ok. Staff is kind.

Cons:

Given the cancellation of flights to Dubai because of the attack to Iran from March 1st they started increasing the prices and taking off availability from online comparison websites. In our case they increased price by 20% and it was possible to book only through them. They were profiting of the situation so we decided to leave for another hotel.

Great Stay, Atmosphere and Service
Pros:

Came in for a night, the atmosphere was great as it was the opposite of the busyness outside the hotel location. The room was good and had everything I needed from a tiring day. Great value for money for all that you get, the cleanliness, low noise level and its various amenities. But outy of everything, the service was really good as everyone was helpful and cheerful. We had dinner at the buffet and our server CHETHIYA was the most helpful and looked very smart with his uniform.

Pros:

We had a very comfortable stay prior to an early flight. The lovely staff noticed it was my birthday and our room was upgraded. The very kind restaurant manager, Mr Ranawaka, surprised me with a cake and even sang Happy Birthday to me. I was touched - such level of personal service is unusal in an 'airport-style' hotel.

10 minute ride to airport, good breakfast, comfortable room
Pros:

Check in was smooth, and they provided us with a nice welcome drink. Room was comfortable with all facilities that you would expect, including safe, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary water. We noticed a slight smell in the corridor and just inside the room but this went away once the AC was on.

Breakfast buffet opens at 700am and was fine. Lots of airline crew use the hotel which must mean it's pretty good. Only 10 minutes ride to the airport.
