Zum schlafen hat es gereicht, zum wohlfühlen nicht.
Pros:

Das Personal. War freundlich.

Cons:

Fernseher ging nicht, ich hatte am Anfang keinen Föhn. Der Teppich ist alt und dreckig. Dusche mit Duschvorhang . Alte Möbel.

Pros:

Garnicht. Personal war sehr freundlich ansonsten nur ekelhaft. Auslegeware,primitive Ausstattung,Kot auf der Toilettenbrille, Fernsehgerät ging nicht.

Pros:

Dat ik smorgens weer kon vertrekken

Cons:

Open riool lucht die uit de badkamer kwam waardoor die deur dicht moest blijven anders stonk de kamer ook. Vlekken in de vloerbedekking. Een staande lamp met stekker maar een kapot stopcontact. Een smerige ventilator vol met stof. Druk bij het ontbijt en bijna niks gezondste om te kiezen. Voor vegan überhaupt niks buiten 1 kannetje met sojamelk wat niet koel stond en niet was afgedekt. Het zag er niet smakelijk uit, dus ontbijt hebben we overgeslagen.

Booking.com you are also to claim. You don't do anything about it. I complained and didn't get any response from you. I'm extremely disappointed in you and the hotel..

Pros:

Niet boeken, iedereen werd straal voor de gek gehouden!

Cons:

Bij aankomst, overboekt. Maar iedereen die aankwam was overboekt, moesten naar een zuster hotel aan de rand van de stad. Wat blijkt ze hebben een tweede hotel die ze op deze manier vol proberen te krijgen!

Mein Folgeurlaub war darauf hin beschissen.
Pros:

Der Service und das Frühstück waren gut. Es gab gute Anbindung zu Bus und Bahn. Das Zentrum von Köln war gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Cons:

Mein Körper war nach der Abreise von Kopf bis zur Fußsohle mit Bissen von Bettwanzen übersäht.

Excellent location, but a very unpleasant experience with bed bugs

Excellent location. I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years, mainly because of its very central location, and this has always been the main reason for choosing it. One of my favourite gay bars is just across the street, and it is only a short walk to Heumarkt, the shopping areas and the Rhine. The location is definitely one of the hotel's strongest advantages.

Cons:

Unfortunately, this was by far my worst experience at this hotel. I stayed in room 22, and on several mornings I noticed what appeared to be bed bugs in the bed. On my fourth night, I woke up and found more than ten bed bugs crawling around me in the bed. This was an extremely unpleasant experience and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable for a paying hotel guest.

I reported the problem to reception immediately and was moved to another room in the backyard/recycling-area of the hotel. I appreciate that the room change was arranged quickly, and fortunately I did not encounter any bed bugs in the new room. However, the experience had already caused considerable stress and inconvenience.

As I was continuing my holiday to other destinations, I had to wash and tumble-dry all the clothes I had with me and thoroughly clean my luggage and personal belongings to reduce the risk of carrying bed bugs to another hotel or eventually home.

After my stay, I also noticed that other guests have reported bed bugs at this hotel in online reviews. I cannot verify those reports myself, but given my own experience, I find this concerning.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before and have never previously had an experience like this. That is why I find this incident particularly disappointing. I would strongly recommend that the hotel takes reports of bed bugs extremely seriously and ensures that affected rooms are properly inspected and treated before being offered to another guest.

The location remains excellent, but unfortunately this experience has made me very hesitant about staying here again.

Kein Fernsehempfang alle 3 Tage, Tresor defekt, Telefon das zur Ausstattung gehört fehlte ganz. Die Toilette stank zwei Tage fürchterlich. Das Frühstück war reduziert auf das mindeste. Die von uns angezeigten Mängel wurden nicht behoben.
