FORMER 5 Stars hotel, in extreme need of millions of dollars to gain back its 5 stars. But it is one the best in San Jose so i take what i can
Mattress overdue to be changed. Thermostat did not work in the room. Either on or off no matter what you requested. Had to get up during the night so i would not freeze

Very nice room and pool area
One guest was very rude at the pool and took my sun lounger (and moved my stuff) when I was gone 5mins to go to the toilet. I know this can’t be helped though!
Breakfast could have been a bit better. There was no where to make tea for yourself and so I was waiting ages for a cup of tea. The pancakes were also cold.
