Pros:

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Was in town for a work trip and I was able to work into the evening and not be distracted. Breakfast, while not fancy was good, a nice selection daily. Room price could not be beat! If I return to Charles City, I will definitely stay there again

Pros:

Pretty great experience. It was a last minute decision due to a completely diffeeent motel losing our reservation but it turned out great. One and only minor complaint-the breakfast was kind of lacking. There were a couple of slightly overripe banana to choose from, bread or bagels, cereal, some yogurt, prepackaged hard boiled eggs and, of course, the waffle maker. Sausage, bacon and hot eggs would’ve been fantastic. Like I said, a minor complaint.

Pros:

Checked in early and told no first floor rooms available. No elevator. Lugging my fully loaded bicycle upstairs was not expected. Staff tried to be helpful. Had to order food delivered as there were no adjacent restaurants.

Moldy, run down.

I didn’t have high expectations, but this place is run down. Our room wreaked of mold. It was so late when we got in that we didn’t have the fortitude to start looking at other rooms to see if they were inhabitable. The AC was loud, the carpeted floor felt damp, the AC was loud, the walls and floors were thin so we could hear every foot step from all around. Breakfast? Cereal, some bread, bananas, a few yogurts, coffee and a juice machine. Meh.

Pros:

The front desk worker initially didn't know how to switch the credit card number. Also, they didn't clean my room from day to day as I thought they would but I haven't stayed in a hotel in 20 years so I don't know how they do it now.

So so hotel. Nothing great for the money. While the rooms have been update the bed could definetly be upgraded. Large long black hair on sheet. Breakfast was eh. Boiled egg container could use a good cleaning. It was very quiet. Separate toilrt shower area to the sink which was nice.
