Cleanliness, breakfast
Breakfast was ok. Wish they had more variety.
Poor breakfast selection and towels were falling apart
Clean room
As we pulled into the parking lot, the grass was needing mowed. Upon entering the lobby it seemed the ac was not on/working. Our room was hot when we entered but the in room ac cooled it fairly quickly. The toilet ran constantly, the shower curtain had spots of mold, and one of the sheets had burn holes.
the smell
poor service
dingy sheet & pillows
breakfast???
None
Property has declined, had to ask for service to get new towels and trash emptied after 2nd day of stay. Outside near entrance had trash, old silk flowers, and junk everywhere. Breakfast was very sparce, only waffles, some cereals and bread.
Overall good experience, clean, affordable and the staff was ver accommodating .
The breakfast bar could use some upgrades.
The super 8 in Waterloo IL will eventually be the cause of the super 8 franchise being shut down, they are not representing the franchise with integrity and good business practices.i have stayed at quite a few different super 8s because I travel with my daughter for cancer treatment and we enjoy staying at super 8 facilities until we arrived at the super 8 in Waterloo IL they have a total disregard for the health and safety of the customer and they have zero accountability for the wrong doing
This was the worst place I’ve had to stay in for longer than I could remember. The room smelled, the refrigerator leaked (already had a towel under it so a known issue, the bed was uncomfortable, and it felt dirty. We were only in it for about 9 hours and were running out the door as fast as we could to leave.
Room was as expected, clean and tidy. Breakfast options were limited. Third floor hallway was 90 degrees and had an overwhelming odor of vomit that hit you like a wave when opening your room door or exiting the elevator. Quite repulsive.
Dirty tub. Towels were thin and dingy. Sheets were thin. Room was dusty. I did not use the ice machine for fear of lack of cleanliness.
Room was not ready at check-in. Front desk agent had to prep the room.
Frankly, I was surprised since I stay at Wyndham properties all of the time. I will not stay here again.
The only plus was that the room was pet-friendly and the door to the grass was near the room.
Room was clean, but that was it. We booked a king, but was given a queen because kiing room wasn't ready, TV worked initially, but later that night didn't work. Went to front desk to inform them. 45 min later, the manger came by, did a reset, and didn't work. Came back 20 minutes later with a different box, and I thought it was going to work, but ended up getting some type of expired authorization error. At this point, it was 9:45pm. Was going to take a shower and noticed a plastic bag wrapped around the shower pipe coming out of the wall. Turned it on, and water went everywhere!! Couldn't use the shower at all! And it was way overpriced ($175) for when we went on June 20th after booking on the 16th.
Basic Super 8. No hot breakfast. They use styrofoam for coffee cups, horrible to drink out of and bad for the environment. Room clean. Towels were sub-par, old & thin. Employees nice.
Single king room nice and roomy with couch. Parking lot has some potholes.
Location was great.
Toilet plugged and never fixed.
Had to request towels, which where not white but grey and black.
Refrigerator was dirty inside.
No glasses.
Abysmal facility
Yes, it's an old building but the rooms were downright filthy - thick dust on the bedside dressers, dingy thin towels with stains and pubes on the bathroom floor (not just one or two!). Avoid at all costs and speaking of costs, the going rate for staying in this filth, was $200 for 1 night.
