Wonderful experience at The Lodge at Sonoma Resort
Pros:

Warm and cozy ambiance, we loved the fireplace in the main lobby and in our room! It was cold and rainy during our December trip. The two restaurants within the hotel were outstanding. Self-parking was excellent. Best part: a kind staff person was extremely helpful in the evening before checkout. I needed extra bubble wrap for two bottles of wine I packed in my suitcase. He found it in the back office, and was so happy to help. A great way to end our stay!

The Cozy, Comfortable Lodge
Pros:

From our check in experience, we knew we were going to have a comfortable stay here at The Lodge. Our concierge was very kind and personable— really made sure our anniversary trip started off right!

Parking is convenient and easy. The room is cozy and comfortable. the adjustable AC is really nice to cool our room during the day and to heat it up during the colder night. After a long day of exploring the Sonoma Coast and Armstrong Redwood Forest, the outdoor tub and plush pillows really melted the exhaustion away.

Huge shoutout to William and the team
at Benecia’s!!! Really making sure our morning before going on another hike starts off strong! He and the team checked in on us throughout our breakfast, and were extremely kind. Our coffee and waters were always full. Truly such a genuine and attentive service. Thanks again, William!!

Can’t wait to enjoy the rest of our stay!

Гарний готель, чистий, сучасний, з прекрасним басейном і рестораном.

Cons:

Персонал при заїзді був надзвичайно не привітний, заблокували депозит на 2-х картках. Вже пройшов місяць, а 150 дол. не розблоковано. Окрім того, мені приходилося перепитувати все декілька разів, бо працівниця говорила так, ніби мене не існувало. При виїзді з мене зняли додатково повну вартість проживання, хоча воно було оплачено завчасно перед заїздом. Я це вчасно зауважила, і повернулася на рецепцію, щоб вияснити. Цього разу інша працівниця була ввічлива і все виправила. Однак, такий рівень готелю не повинен робити такі речі.

Five starts plus - conference experience at the lodge
Pros:

I attended a conference at the Lodge last week. Our experience from start to finish was wonderful. The food and service was exceptional, with a notable call out for Doris who was managing out conference space an meal services. We felt so well taken care of and also appreciate a visit from the resort manager to make sure everyhing was going well. Highly recommend for business or leisure.

Pros:

The general areas are nice. Our room was not great, we had a broken door to the patio that would not open and the door handle fell off when I tried to open it and the bathroom door to the toilet would not shut.

Overpriced and a terrible experience
Pros:

The pictures on the website and the actual room are two different stories. The room is a tick above Motel 6 and at $700+tax+resort fees a night definitely not worth it. I am recovering from back surgery and they put me on a second floor room. With no elevators I risked my life carrying my suitcase and bag up 30 steep steps. Being a long time loyal Marriott customer and having Ambassador Elite status it didn't make a difference to the staff. No upgrade offered, no explanation of the facilities, and on the second day they offered a similar room on the first floor.

Most Amazing Experience / Birthday + Engagement
Pros:

had the most incredible overall experience thanks to Kendall, Taylor, Punam & William. My now fiance Noah booked everything and I am still daydreaming about our days there at the pool, upgraded suite and restaurant. This will he one of my most cherished memories and truly is our happy place!!
