This was my first stay at Zorlu Grand Hotel, and although it was only for one night, I had a pleasant experience overall.

We booked one suite and one family room, both of which were clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. While I would not describe the rooms as exceptional, they were certainly very good and met our expectations.

One of the hotel's greatest advantages is its location. It is right in the heart of downtown Trabzon, surrounded by shops, cafés, and restaurants, making everything easily accessible on foot. I truly enjoyed being in the middle of the shopping area and found the location to be perfect for exploring the city.

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. I arrived quite late, just as they were about to close the breakfast service. The staff had already started clearing some items, but they kindly stopped removing the food and encouraged me to enjoy my breakfast at my own pace. They continued their cleaning quietly while allowing me to finish comfortably, which I genuinely appreciated. It was a thoughtful gesture that reflected their hospitality and care for guests.

Since our flight was scheduled for 10:00 PM, we hoped to extend our stay for half a day, even at an additional charge. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked and could not accommodate our request. The staff kindly offered to store our luggage and allowed us to continue using the lobby and reception facilities until our departure, which we appreciated. Although I wish we could have kept one room for a few more hours, I understand that this can happen, especially during busy periods.

Overall, the experience was enjoyable. Zorlu Grand Hotel offers comfortable accommodations, an excellent breakfast, attentive service, and an unbeatable location in the center of Trabzon. I would gladly stay here again on a future visit.

Location was excellent, right in the city center and very convenient for walking around. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, the hotel is good and we enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

However, for a 5-star hotel, we expected some services to be better. Complimentary water was limited, and when we requested extra water there was an additional charge. Also, basic coffee was available at breakfast, but drinks like latte or cappuccino required an extra payment, which was a little disappointing for a hotel of this category.

The breakfast was good, but we expected a more luxurious experience from a 5-star hotel.

Overall, it is a clean hotel with an amazing location and friendly atmosphere, but some small improvements in service would make the experience match the 5-star rating.
