A small point, but would have expected a fancier shower head given the general standard of the hotel.

Perfect weekend break in Seville.
Pros:

The staff were so welcoming.
The rooftop area was a lovely space to relax after a day sightseeing and the pool perfect for a cooling dip.
Breakfast was varied with jamon Serrano and freshly made tortilla, croissants, fresh fruit and some hot items.
Location 7 mins from Catedral in a good area.
I would definitely return.

Excelente ubicación, habitación cómoda y personal muy amable. La terraza es encantadora y el desayuno fue de lo mejor de la estadía.

Nice hotel and well located.

We stayed at the Rey Alfonso for 1 week and were very happy with most aspects of the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed and the roof pool and terrace area was a lovely calm oasis in a busy city. Our only negative was that the reception staff could be a little aloof on times. We’ve stayed in numerous hotels and a friendly reception gives a good first impression. Whilst no one was rude, there was little warmth. I had called prior leaving the uk to ask for assistance regarding booking tickets for an attraction, but was just told they couldn’t help and to look on the internet. It’s an easy 4* - just a little more of a welcoming from reception would make it a 5

Hotel honesto no coração de Sevilla.
Pros:

Hotel muito bem localizado, praticamente no bairro de Santa Cruz. Quarto espaçoso, confortável e com tudo o que precisávamos para uma estadia agradável. Os rapazes na recepção foram muito bom, não me lembro o nome. Deu dicas valiosas sobre a cidade e nos vendeu um show excelente de Flamenco.

Cons:

Para um hotel desse nível e faixa de preço, os travesseiros eram muito ruins, deveríamos ter pedido outros. Também esperava um pouco mais de sofisticação no geral. O hotel é funcional e atende bem, mas a proposta acaba sendo mais simples do que aparenta nas fotos e na categoria anunciada.

Pros:

Staff was nice. Clean and nice sized room. We overlooked the plaza with the restaurant and there was a Laundromat right across the way. Great air conditioning! The only negative that I would say is the walls were thin! You can hear everything from toilets flushing to people’s conversations… especially outside. One night around midnight, a couple was outside by the restaurant fighting… obviously too much to drink. I had a hard time sleeping.
