Good hotel, questionable room

Location & the property itself is divine

Cons:

Room was smelling cigarettes… it’s a horrible no go for me.
The smoking smell was coming from bathroom. So I don’t ow if it’s the previous guest, that broke the rules and smoke inside or someone next door smoking in the bathroom. Ventilation system is horrifically old, makes so much noise , so I couldn’t sleep all night.

All the rest is ok. Nice mix of antique furniture & Italian style

Pros:

Location veramente bella e accogliente, le camere pulite e con tutti i confort. Il personale molto gentile e la colazione con molta varietà e qualità. Ho trovato senza dover chiedere opzioni senza lattosio al buffet. Marieta è stata molto attenta alle nostre richieste e davvero cordiale.

Villa molto elegante immersa in un contesto bucolico rigenerante.
Ho apprezzato moltissimo l’upgrade della camera e la gestione degli spazi che, pur con i limiti strutturali di una dimora storica (un po' stretti per tre adulti), mantengono il loro fascino.

Una nota di merito speciale va a Davin che ci ha accolto alla Reception.
Nonostante un disservizio durante l'aperitivo Davin ha gestito la situazione con estrema eleganza e professionalità. È raro trovare un’attenzione al cliente così alta: un vero esempio di problem solving.

Cons:

L'aperitivo: esperienza purtroppo deludente; vino bianco servito caldo e personale al bar poco empatico. Un aspetto decisamente da migliorare.

La camera: ringrazio molto per l'upgrade ricevuto, un gesto molto apprezzato.
Nonostante questo, la stanza è risultata un po' angusta per tre adulti; capisco però che, trattandosi di una struttura storica, gli spazi debbano scendere a compromessi con i vincoli architettonici originali.
