We stayed at the Azia Resort and Spa in August 2025 for 10 nights. We are a family of five and stayed in two interconnected rooms with sea view on the first floor (i.e., floor 0).

We arrived at almost midnight and were warmly welcomed at the reception and shown to our rooms. There was an elderly man (I didn’t catch his name) on duty who was very nice, explained everything in the all-inclusive package and helped with our baggage. In our rooms, we had sandwiches, red wine, water and a bottle of fizz on the table - a very much needed welcome.

What did I like
* Great location; seaside, short walk to the beach
* Sea view rooms
* Beautiful grounds/garden
* The games such as football, volleyball and water polo organised on different days
* Rooms are cleaned twice a day
* The turn-down service and chocolates placed on the bed daily were a very nice touch; kids were always looking forward to that (me too)
* Mini bar in the room stocked with juices and water daily
* Pool bar
* Loved going for a swim in the adult pool every morning
* Loved the water polo and playing football on the grounds

What did I not like: nothing. I don’t have any complaints about Azia Resort and Spa.

Thanks to the reception staff: Caterina, Joanne, Stanley. This is not an exhaustive list but only the names I can remember. All the staff were all very nice. Finally, thanks to the staff at the Katoi restaurant and all the Ala carte staff as well.

We had a wonderful holiday and would return.

It’s difficult to submit a review for this hotel because half of me wants to recommend it but the other half wants to discourage any new guests and keep it as my little secret hideaway.
Since discovering the Azia by pure chance at least 24 years ago it is where I return to each year for my annual holiday. Over those years I have met so many like minded fellow guests who well surpass my record and visit at least twice a year. I would like to try new venues but fear that I might be disappointed. Being a single guest here is not a problem: everyone is treated with the same respect.
For me it provides a relaxing holiday with everything I need: excellent staff, good food, stunning views, spacious pool areas, immaculate gardens and a clean, comfortable room.
Many of the staff are long serving and they in particular are what makes this hotel so relaxing and enjoyable. At this point I would like to mention Nino, Oana, Krisztina, Irena, Rodoula, Alex and Paul, to name but a few (there are others but I don’t always notice name badges) who are always friendly, smiling and more than willing to help whatever the circumstances. Their memories and attention to detail are amazing.
It only remains to say that 2026 is almost upon us and I will soon be thinking about booking yet another trip to this resort, where I hope to catch up with all the lovely hpeople I have encountered in the past. Happy memories and home from home.

What can we say about this amazing resort !

Well for a start this was our second visit this year and our seventh visit in four year and we are not the only ones who keep coming back, we actually sat in an area with people who have been more times than us and it was a full area!

If I keep it simple and short , the food is fantastic from the buffet to the theme restaurant’s, the drinks are branded, the house homemade rose wine is our personal favourite but the branded cocktails are a very close second .

The hotel and rooms are immaculate and the views are amazing and we never get tired of watching the amazing sun set every night.

The pool is also immaculate and the right temperature but a tip for you if you get to hot jump in the indoor pool .

The main bar is fantastically run by Alex and Lolita , Luxman and the polish lady whose name I forgot , sorry . We never had to wait for a drink in-fact , sometimes our drinks were all ready waiting for us . The customer service displayed by Alex and his team is second to none and truly is five star, thank you Alex and Lolita. The same can be said for the pool bar team of Alex and Raulla.

Going back to the pool you will always get a sun-bed and it’s always in the sun, no mater if your poolside , cliff top beach area or in the amazing garden’s.

The rooms are modern, ridiculously cleaned every day by the housekeeping team, which is ran by Radulla who spoils us rotten every time we visit remembers our names and goes out of her way to make sure that everyone is happy, thank you Radulla, and she almost cried when I told her I had proposed 😂.

The entertainment team is extremely good too and there is loads to do, they engage and have fun with everyone, Chris you are a credit to the hotel , fun , hardworking, caring , and beyond five star!

Like I said the hotel itself is amazing , so is the food, the weather , the grounds , the rooms, the drinks but it’s the staff and the way they treat everyone not just us, and the five star service , is the reason we keep returning.

Speaking of the staff Nino and Kristina thank you for treating me and Miss Emma like family and rock stars! You make our holiday.

Joanna , thank you for everything ! says it all that your daughter and son are working there now ! The sisters who work so hard in the buffet whom will kill me because I have forgotten both your names , thank you for making us feel special and for making Emma feel special over her engagement. Alice thank you for helping me improve my Greek !! And your faultless customer service.

Fingers crossed we see you as normal for Emma’s birthday but it depends on the wedding cost which is also next year!!! Yes we have set a date ……

Delayed review, but this was our second stay at Azia. Our first visit was excellent, so we were really looking forward to coming back. While there were still enjoyable aspects of our stay, this time didn’t quite meet the same high standards.

Areas That Fell Short:
Service Delays Due to Staffing
The hotel appeared to be understaffed, which unfortunately impacted the quality of service. Room cleaning was delayed, and towels weren’t replaced consistently, which affected our overall comfort.

Inconsistent Staff Experience
There were many new team members during our stay. While we understand staff turnover is natural, we found that some lacked the professionalism and attentiveness we had come to associate with Azia.

Most concerning was an incident involving our baby, who required medical attention. We were incorrectly informed by a staff member that there was no first aider on site, and as a result, we were left with no choice but to go to the hospital. Later, we found out that a first aider was, in fact, available. This situation was extremely distressing and could have been avoided with better communication and staff training.

Crèche and Kids Club Setup
The crèche was merged with the kids club, meaning our 8-month-old and 2-year-old were in the same space as much older children. It didn’t feel like an appropriate or safe environment for very young children, and the crèche also appeared to be understaffed.

What We Appreciated:
Responsive Management
We shared our concerns with hotel management, and the Deputy Manager took the time to speak with us. She was receptive and did what she could to make the remainder of our stay more comfortable, which we appreciated.

Crèche Staff – Violet & Jackie
A sincere thank you to Violet and Jackie for taking such good care of our little ones. Harris especially enjoyed spending time with you, and your kindness did not go unnoticed.

Spa Team – Dimitrina and Colleagues
The spa staff were welcoming and flexible, even helping us arrange treatments around our children. We really appreciated their efforts.

Kids Club Team
The girls running the kids club were warm and friendly. Although Harris wasn’t quite ready to take part, we always felt welcomed.

Exceptional Restaurant Service – Nino and Her Team
Nino was a true highlight of our stay. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were exceptional, and she consistently made our whole family — especially the children — feel cared for.
We’d also like to thank Iryna, Joanna, and Meheedi for their excellent service. The entire restaurant team really made a positive impression.

Final Thoughts:
This visit didn’t quite meet the high standards set by our first stay. The issues around staffing, communication, and child care setup were disappointing, particularly the medical situation, which should have been handled with far more care and clarity.

That said, there were still staff members who made our stay enjoyable, and we’re grateful to those individuals for their efforts. With improvements in staffing levels, training, and facilities for younger children, Azia can return to being the outstanding resort we once experienced.

A truly relaxing experience. The spa facilities were excellent, offering a wide range of treatments that left me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The staff were friendly and professional, always going out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Dining was another highlight—the food was delicious, and the hotel’s restaurants provided both variety and quality. It was a memorable stay.

My holiday at the Azia Resort & Spa was exceptional. The staff were attentive and welcoming, the rooms were spacious with beautiful interior, and the amenities—from the pool to the fine dining—were top-notch. The location was perfect and offered a peaceful retreat for our whole stay. Highly recommend for anyone seeking luxury and comfort!

The Azia hotel is set in beautiful grounds, with ample space for pool and lawned area, ideal for a relaxing holiday. Guests have the choice of dining facilities in the self service restaurant or the choice of other themed restaurants. The staff in all areas of the hotel cannot be faulted, friendly, efficient, and go out of their way to help wherever possible. We have returned many times because of the warmth and hospitality we receive and look forward to our visit next year.

We spent one night at Azia Resort & Spa in Paphos (15–16 November) and were genuinely impressed by every detail. The food across all the restaurants was outstanding — incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was easily some of the best resort dining we’ve ever had. The restaurant staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and truly elevated the whole experience.

The main reception team were also fantastic — professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The same goes for the spa staff, who were extremely friendly and caring (even though we didn’t use the spa facilities, their attitude alone made a great impression).

Our room was superb: spacious, spotless, and with an amazing private balcony jacuzzi that made the stay feel extra special.

Overall, Azia Resort & Spa exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

What an excellent hotel... a shame that they close for a couple of months over the Christmas period. Stayed in a mountain view club room which was fine - it had everything we needed, good bath, shower, bidet and daily cleaning and turn-down service. The swimming pools were clean, the gardens were well kept and provided with adequate sun beds. The evening entertainment was varied for 7 nights but then repeated. My wife had a great massage and hair do. We were on half-board which turned out to be a good choice, because the drinks were not overly expensive - £22 for a bottle of wine, £5 for Guinness, £4 for a large draught Keo. The food was excellent in all of the restaurants, and we got great service at breakfast from Anna and Lynn. Dimitrina on reception was brilliant, and helped arrange car hire. Oanna went out of her way with supplies of coffee and advice on any local topic. She was superb, as were Angelique, Nino, Sophia, Tibor, Alice, Sima (masseur), Niki (hairdresser), Paul, Theofania (towels) and Fernando (Guest Services) - it is the staff at this hotel which make the difference and the main reason I would return.

I went with my adult son to Paphos at the end of October and stayed at the Azia Resort & Spa for 5 nights. Azia is truly a wonderful hotel to stay in Paphos. Check-in was easy and quick, and we were welcome in the room with a plate of fruits, a small bottle of red wine, and a complimentary big bottle of sparkling wine. We were also given sandwiches in the room as we checked-in late in the evening. We booked a sea view twin bedroom, we could see the big swimming pool and the sea from the balcony, it was an amazing view. We could also see a bit of the sunset but not totally as it was blocked by a tall palm tree on the right side of the balcony. The room was clean, spacious and the air-conditioning was quiet and worked superbly. We went for half baord, and the breakfast and dinner were really excellent, we didn't bother to venture outside to look for a plavce to eat. The hotel compound is vast and beautifully kept, but you have to walk about 8 to 10 minutes to the sandy beach. You can get a really stunning view of the sunset from the hotel garden facing the sea. If I ever go back to Paphos, I will surely stay at Azia Resort and Spa again. I will definitely recommend Azia Resort and Spa to anyone who wants a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Paphos.
