Stayed here for a quick night trip in between traveling in Costa Rica. The property is kept well and the staff very friendly. The morning breakfast was very good, and buffet style. Overall no complaints at all.

Unbearable smell

Olor horrible. En mis 3 últimas estadías lo mismo, sin embargo, esta vez fue la peor. Sube por los tubos de los baños. Pedí cambio de habitaciòn en la noche y no fue fàcil hacer entender a la recepcionista del problema. Creo q ya no volverè

Adequate but that’s it.
Pros:

I was surprised by the poor condition of the hotel based on the reviews I read. My coffee maker didn’t work, the tub didn’t drain properly and the room smelled a bit moldy. The receptionist and bartender were very helpful. There isn’t airport transportation but an uber cost about $15.

Pros:

We made a mistake with our reservations in San Jose and found a need for a hotel at the last minute. This Four Points had availability and was only about 20 minutes from the airport. It was comfortable and has a decent restaurant and bar. The staff was gracious and it was a good port in the storm.
