It was cheap
Long story short, they blammed canceling my reservation on booking.com. Talk to the manager 4 different times to get this straightened out. Which keep in mind this was a business trip. The manager took card information to hold the room being I was not coming in until later that night, which was fine said he was never going to run the card. They ran my card for $150. I get to the property that evening and pay in full for my stay in cash. Manager said I would receive the 150 back in 3 to 5 days. Still have not received my money. On top of the fact my whole stay the elevators were down and had to walk up and down the stairs. Very very unhappy with this stay the staff and the cleanliness of this establishment.
Location was fine.
Costly for the quality compared to comparable properties. Facity is aging. Carpet in the room was old and dingy. Breakfast was a joke. TV had poor sound which could not be heard.
The staff was great
The bed was comfortable and looked clean and inviting
The bathtub faucet had a serious leak (fan on, close the door, constant noise bad)
The hallway carpet was very worn
The stairs smelled of smoke (probably from the parking lot)

As always, Ricky was excellent and went out of his way to accommodate us. Although our preferred room was already booked, he let us know immediately and made sure we got the next best option to suit our needs, which was especially helpful since we were traveling with an elderly family member.
While housekeeping was great, the shampoo dispenser was empty when I needed it (thankfully, my own emergency kit saved the day). The neighbors were a bit noisy with a loud TV, and the day before we left, there was some intense maintenance work next door. The constant hammering and banging were quite a nuisance and gave me a headache. However, I understand that urgent repairs are sometimes necessary to maintain the hotel's standards and are often outside of management's immediate control.
Staff was welcoming and competent. Breakfast was ok but no meat was provided. It was close to the Interstate and a couple of restaurants. The bed was comfortable with blackout curtains that worked well.
The bathroom was built by amateurs. The floor tiles moved when you stepped on them, the toilet wobbles when you sit on it and the curved shower rod is loosely secured to the wall so that it droops down in the middle - making the curtain slide away from the ends.
The only light in the bathroom is a mirror with dim band lighting. Not nearly sufficient for the room.
