Very happy with the hotel. The breakfast included hot foods and had several options for most types of diets. Staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
Nothing major, our tv wouldn't work so we had to call the desk to report it. They immediately sent someone up to fix it. So not really anything bad, because they handled it well.
Good location and very clean
A little high priced
Always a great experience due to convenience, comfort, cleanlines and the incredible staff, especially the ladies in the breakfat room
Very good
All was good
Circumstances during our stay provided your staff with the opportunity to show your service level. I’m happy to say your staff is very very good. A+ to your cleaning crew who works in the background, and A+ to your kitchen crew who I did meet. Thank you
The carpet in the room is clean but they don’t look like it. That would be my only negative
Clean and location
The room we stayed in the bed was Makin a lot of noise as we shifted in our sleep
I liked being able to get snacks in the lobby. I liked the location of my room on the first floor. I appreciated the ease of checking in. The breakfast was good and had a variety of choices.
There was no pen and paper in the room which made it very difficult for me since I needed to use a pen and paper in an emergency situation. The outlet in the bathroom did not work for the hairdryer.
The lady at reception who checked me in was lovely
It was expensive for the location and the facility.
The rooms are not soundproof. I heard everything from the next room
Clean, friendly hotel which has its location working both for and against it.
I didn’t have a car but didn’t need one. The LIRR to Penn Station or Grand Central is a short easy walk, or you can take the N4 bus to Jamaica, Queens, and transfer to the E train (longer, but cheaper).
In the heart of Rockville Centre you’ll find practical stores including the Bagelry (excellent NY bagels), a barber shop next door to it which came in handy, Dollar Tree, 7-Eleven, banks/ATMs, and such. Right next door to the hotel is a King Kullen supermarket and a CVS.
There’s a free guest laundry in the basement (accessible via an elevator in the back) which is a valuable perk (they sell detergent for $1 or buy at Dollar Tree).
No business center anymore, but the front desk graciously printed some pages for me.
Now, here’s the downside: The hotel backs up to the LIRR tracks. And the train runs all night (including moving empty equipment). Even with the fan on, you will hear it. It didn’t bother me, but it will bother others.
Overall, a very nice place, but keep that last bit of information in mind.
Comfortable bed and great bathroom
Nothing
Clean and convenient. Accommodating staff
No views from room
The staff were wonderful, particularly the gentleman that checked us in. Convenient parking.
I don’t do reviews often but you’re asking. I truly feel like I overpaid. The elevators were cool but inconsistent and it got quite annoying having to cross the lobby nearly every time. The atrium being closed off with caution tape was strange and a little unsettling. The “really good breakfast” was a reason I chose this location and it was genuinely the worst continental breakfast I’ve ever had. The rooms weren’t really on par with what I expect from a Hilton. Comfortable at least but outdated. And the queen beds were not true queens. Fortunately none of us are very tall because these beds were only 75” in length, not 80”. (I work construction, I carry a tape measure on me for convenience. They looked small so I checked. My curiosity got the best of me, not trying to be a Karen.) And not a true problem but the fan in the room (white noise) had a slight squeak to it.
Le petit déjeuner est incroyable, le personnel est très sympathique ! Les équipements et les chambres sont parfaits. L'hôtel est très joli.
