Shangri-La Dubai

Enjoyed two nights on the way to Sri Lanka. Location is great for Dubai Mall / Burj Khalifa, either by complementary hotel shuttle of nearby Metro station. The upgrade to a Horizon room in 39 floor provided a great view of the Burj Khalifa at night. Shangri-La hotels are noted for their superb breakfasts and this one didn’t disappoint, such great variety and cook stations for eggs and noodles. All-in-all an enjoyable short stay,

We recently stayed at Shangri-La Dubai as a group, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Ma’am Luz handled everything smoothly and professionally, making our group check-in seamless and stress-free.

The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of the Dubai skyline. Everyone in our group was impressed with the comfort of the beds and the overall luxury feel of the rooms.

The breakfast was a highlight — an incredible selection with something for everyone. Whether you prefer continental, Asian, or Middle Eastern options, the variety and quality were exceptional. The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring our group was well taken care of at all times.

The facilities, especially the pool area, were perfect for relaxing together after a busy day exploring Dubai. What truly stood out was the hospitality — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

If you’re traveling with family, friends, or colleagues, this hotel is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it and would definitely return on our next visit to Dubai!

Our second stay at Shangri-La Dubai was truly exceptional and once again exceeded our expectations. From arrival to departure, the level of service embodied luxury hospitality. The entire team demonstrated impeccable professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness, creating an atmosphere that feels like home but on a luxurious setting. Special recognition to Luz and Archel. Kopila , Sheila, Coline, Soad and Elizabeta was extraordinary.

The facilities were amazing, and maintained to the highest standards. Every detail was flawlessly executed, from the beautifully appointed, featuring a breathtaking Burj Khalifa view and delightful birthday surprises, to the outstanding service across all outlets, including the staff in the reception, housekeeping, in-room dining, the Pool, and Hoi An. Each experience reflected excellence and consistency in service.

We would once again like to commend Luz and Archel for their gracious hospitality and dedication. Their poise, efficiency, and personalized care truly elevated our stay and made us feel completely at home.

Shangri-La Dubai has now become one of our favorite destinations for holidays and special occasions, and we eagerly look forward to returning on our third time.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Shangri-La Dubai. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. The level of service throughout our stay was impeccable — professional, attentive, and always delivered with a smile.

I booked the Shangri La for week long conference for 115 people. The hotel surpassed all my expectations and nothing was too much trouble (and believe me we did test them a few times with last minute changes).

We stayed during Ramadan and held a private dinner by the pool on one evening, the food was incredible, large buffet in little carts and lots of choices.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a venue for a large conference.

Khodarahm at the Shangri La Hotel Dubai is exceptional. He welcomes guests with a genuine smile every single time and makes you feel instantly looked after. Always attentive, always helpful, whether arranging taxis, handling luggage, or simply making sure everything runs smoothly.

I surprised my partner for his 40th birthday with a break in Dubai. He loves the Burj Khalifa & I chose this hotel because of the rooms with views of the Burj. The concierge team were so helpful in the run up to us arriving and answered all my queries & set up our room with a wonderful set up of balloons, cake, chocolate dipped strawberries, wine, roses & rose petals. It was perfect & a lovely surprise for my partner. The staff cannot do enough for you & the service throughout the hotel is exceptional. We were impressed from the moment we arrived and were greeted by the doorman who quickly took care of our luggage when we arrived & ensured this arrived in our room. The reception staff were professional and welcoming & this was echoed through the staff at breakfast, the pool area & the lobby. Our room was spacious & comfortable & a nice touch was a gift of birthday balloons, another cake & a card from the hotel on my partner’s actual birthday. It was also lovely that throughout our stay, many of the staff would ask him if he was enjoying his birthday. Breakfast was excellent & we were amazed by the variety and quality of food. The rooftop pool with views again of the Burj was lovely. The service again was excellent with the pool staff setting out the towels on the loungers for us. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced too. All in all it was faultless & we would definitely stay again & would highly recommend this hotel & their wonderful staff.

We stayed at the Shangri-La in Dubai the second week of January and absolutely loved our experience. The room, the dining, and most of all, the hospitality of the hotel staff were outstanding. In particular, Mr. Khodarahm, at the hotel entrance, brightened our day every time. His kindness, warmth, expert knowledge, and help were above and beyond and made our stay truly welcoming. He is a true professional and we cannot wait to return.

From reception Luz Syla greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome right away.Special thanks to Luz & Nikhil.Our room was Upgraded to the nice view, The room was spotless and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed. The housekeeping team maintained excellent cleanliness daily. Whenever we needed assistance, the front desk and concierge were always prompt and helpful.

The hotel is very clean, the customer service was impeccable. From checking in Staff Coline was very friendly. The director of rooms Assem was very attentive to our needs. Even the housekeeper Kelum was very polite. We dined at their restaurant The Shang Palace and staff Christene was very friendly and attentive. The daily breakfast was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel has the best views of Dubai’s incredible skyline! Our room was lovely, clean and a good size but the views were the most impressive! Breakfast was perfect with lots of different options and the staff at the hotel were so friendly. Stay at this hotel if you want epics views of the city!

I've written reviews for our experience in other parts of this fantastic hotel but i have one more to do, the main restaurant serves to every palate and is run to perfection all down to one man, his name is Mohammed restaurant manager, you want anything he is the man to see, he made our experience at 31st night memorable and one we won't forget.

Good location, great team, big and clean room, well equipped gym, nice food at their F&B restaurants. The Horizon club is definitely worth a mention. The team is attentive. It was a peak season and despite being overwhelmed with guests, they greeted and served everyone with a smile and did their best to ensure all the guests were taken care of. We had a memorable stay at Shangri-la because of the people.
