Great Family Ski Vacation in Jackson Hole with Terrific Four Seasons Service
Pros:

Our family had a truly exceptional stay at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and seamless. Kendall took wonderful care of us throughout our visit, ensuring every detail felt personalized and effortless. She also arranged special touches for our son, which was very thoughtful. The room service team was outstanding as well—prompt, friendly, and consistently delivering excellent meals. We also enjoyed one meal at Steadfast Grill, with good steak.

The real highlight of our stay was the skiing experience, which exceeded all expectations. The ski valet team was fantastic—special thanks to Carlos and the rest of the staff for making our ski-in/ski-out days incredibly easy. Having our gear ready, warm, and quickly retrieved each morning was a luxury that made the entire trip smoother.

The Jackson Hole Mountain Sports School was equally impressive. Our 4-year-old son took lessons with Kirra, who was patient, energetic and understood what he needed. Under her guidance, he made tremendous progress and genuinely loved every minute on the snow—something we’ll always remember.

The only minor note is that the base area and public areas of the hotel, including the restaurants, can get a bit crowded with skiers who aren’t staying at the resort. Even so, the Four Seasons team did a pretty good job of prioritizing the in-house guest experience, and we always felt well taken care of, thanks to Kendall.

Overall, our stay was exceptional in every way—beautiful property, world-class service, excellent food, and unforgettable skiing. We would return in a heartbeat.

Location is fantastic, housekeeping was the all-star
Pros:

From check in to check out it was a great experience. The ski rental folks were helpful and friendly and you cannot beat the ease of ski in ski out. The bar tender in the speak easy needed help but he was wonderful and talented. I have to say the stand out was housekeeping, they were fantastic and attentive. Everything you expect from the four seasons. Great stay!

Lovely Thanksgiving Holiday
Pros:

We booked a three-night stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. We knew it was before ski season officially opened, which meant that not all shops and restaurants in Teton Village were open. For us weather nerds, there was no snow on the ground when we arrived, but we got a good dusting of snow two days into our trip. Getting to the resort was an easy and scenic drive from the airport. We chose a mountain view room, and we were very happy with it. Our room was quiet with no noise from any direction. Concierge was really nice and helped us with our objective of seeing Grand Teton. We ate at Steadfire Chophouse three times – breakfast, Thanksgiving dinner, and regular dinner. All three meals were excellent. We also dined at Ascent Lounge, and we were pleased with that too. I enjoyed a coconut-milk based soup at Ascent that I am still thinking about. It was delicious! We loved the sweet treats in our room as well. The resort has a very talented pastry chef! Housekeeping was on point with excellent attention to detail. I will make an extra note of how well the hotel staff works together as a team. All in all, a great stay.

Not worth it
Pros:

We’ve been here several times in summer and shoulder seasons and always assumed that Christmas at the four seasons Jackson hole would be magical. But I’m afraid there is nothing going on whatsoever. It’s as if the hotel thinks that just existing is enough. No fire going in the fire place in lobby/lounge. No live music. Ascent lounge understaffed and shocked that they are not open during the day over Christmas break. The only chance for a mid day skiing break/drink at the hotel is the handle bar, which on Christmas Eve had a line all the way to Teewinot lift. All of the village action is happening down towards the mangy moose.

Great Hotel Right on top of Grand Teton
Pros:

Great Four Seasons property, right on top of the entrance to Grand Teton. And not far from Jackson.

Hotel is huge. Typical excellent Four Seasons service. Room was super comfy and quiet, nice view. We ate breakfast here early every day, then drove off to explore Grand Teton and Yellowstone. One day we went to Jackson. We ate dinner here at the steakhouse each night. Restaurant was excellent.

Highly recommend staying here.

Okay but it great.
Pros:

Decent hotel with some flaws. Service is slow. They were clearly understaffed. We came during Thanksgiving week and everything was closed in the base camp. Some of the rooms have fake fireplaces that don’t give off heat. Basically a night light.

Beautiful resort with helpful and attentive team
Pros:

We stayed here for 5 nights on vacation in early September. I was very pleased with this FS and would highly recommend. It wasn’t perfect, but in areas they fell short they quickly made up for it and check in often to ensure everything was ok.

Room: B+
The rooms are updated and quite spacious. Despite our room overlooking the front driveway, we never heard any noise from outside, or inside for that matter. It was one of the quietest hotel rooms I’ve ever had. In fact one night apparently had loud thunder, we never heard a thing! Nice large closets with enough hangers. However, two things about the rooms we did not like: 1) The A/C is on sensors and at night it shut off and the room got very hot. Maintenance came by to look at it and make adjustments and it got better as our stay went on. But this is a common problem in hotel rooms that rooms get warm at night. 2) Smaller issue but design flaw: the safe is high up on a shelf in the closet and you need to be 7 ft tall to see into it. We were worried to put stuff in there for fear we wouldn’t be able to get anything out, or see it before we left. Put safe’s at eye level!

Grounds/Hotel Design: A
The hotel is beautiful inside and out and loved the luxurious but rustic design.

Location: A
It’s about a 15/20 min drive to downtown Jackson but being in Teton Village also gives you access to many restaurants and casual food options, plus shops. We preferred being in Teton village as it’s closer to the Park entrance. The tram is right out the back of the resort and in winter the ski trails are literally right there.

Housekeeping: B+
The first day they never came to our room despite us being gone 9-4. I called to complain and they were very apologetic and the team came early each day after and checked in by text each day, which I appreciated.

Staff: A
Special shout out to the valet team, they hustled for the cars we never waited more than a few minutes. But all the waitstaff, front desk, spa team, and concierge staff were pleasant and helpful.

Spa/Gym: A
Had a great massage and there is nice indoor whirlpool. No outside waiting area but makes sense due to the weather. The gym is not overly large but has all the equipment you need.

Food: A-
We did room service one night, The Steakhouse one night, and did breakfast each day. Breakfast portions are small but the food good and it’s a large menu. Dinner was delicious however the steakhouse kitchen was slow and the wait staff kept commenting they didn’t know why. They comped us the dessert for the delay. For our day to Yellowstone the kitchen put together a to-go breakfast that we could pick up at the front desk at 5:45. it took a bit of back and forth to nail this down and wasn’t as seamless as I like, but in the end worked out.

Definitely a great option in Jackson Hole!

Not a luxury experience
Pros:

We visited with a large family group, and they made no effort to put us next to or near each other. We have two small children and we’re out on the second floor while their grandparents were on the seventh. The second floor feels like a dungeon, our window was right next to the street and somehow all of the natural light was obstructed by the trees but still allowed for people to clearly see us driving by.
The suite we booked was not as pictured online and significantly smaller. We asked to be moved closer to the grandparents. They told us they had a room with two double bed with a view on the seventh floor. When we arrived at that room we found out the view was of the front entrance driveway. Also the bathtub doesn’t work.
They only gave us $500 hotel credit even though the room we are in is a significant downgrade from what we booked (we are staying 4 nights total).
Overall, not impressed with this experience. The rooms with a valley view seem like the only tolerable rooms for the prices they are charging. This does not feel like the luxury experience I’d expect from a four seasons.

Four Seasons Jackson Hole !
Pros:

Great location in Teton Village right in between the mountains with all the activities nearby. We have stayed in about six FS properties and this was by far the on the lower scale. Service and overall Four Seasons experience was not up to the par. Rooms were clean, big enough and comfortable. There was lack of energy in general with exception of a few folks. The front desk check in and out was more like a transaction. We dined at Handle Bar every day for break fast and every it seemed like a very basic restaurant. We were told they are opening steak house on July 14th and Handle bar is kind of fill in for food until time being. Had to wait a long time one of the days to get someone attend to us. On a positive note, a few of the folks made our stay a bit pleasant - Felix and Peter at front desk, Ava in housekeeping, Ben and Peter at Bell desk. Outside of this not a whole lot to mention.

Meets Forbes 5 Star Standards
Pros:

Was able to take my mom here for drinks on the deck on her first retirement trip. The bartender definitely meets the Forbes 5 Star standards. Thank you for an enjoyable summer evening in Teton Village. Will definitely come back when in town again.
