My partner and I visited Medusa Hotel for the day using a day pass, as we weren’t staying at the hotel, and we had such a lovely experience from start to finish.
We spent the day relaxing by the beautiful pool and were welcomed with a drink on arrival, followed by an absolutely delicious lunch. I also booked a massage in the spa, which was a real highlight — the spa is incredibly luxurious and such a relaxing space.
Every member of staff we met was so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and they really made us feel looked after even though we weren’t hotel guests.
A perfect place to spend a relaxing day, and somewhere we would definitely return to. I would highly recommend Medusa Hotel and their day pass experie
The breakfast was okay but the view from the breakfast room was very good. The pool was nice and surprisingly quiet. The staff were helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful.
The hotel isn’t very well located it is best reached by car or taxi, walking isn’t far but a bit daunting in the heat.
The facilities in the room could have been a bit more generous our coffee and milk could have been replenished better.

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, spraken vlot Engels + uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.
Verouderde badkamers (kunnen wat liefde gebruiken).
Hotel had tijdens ons verblijf de pech dat het te kampen had met een mierenplaag, aanwezigheid grote tuin + warmte zorgde voor deze overlast. Personeel was echter zeer behulpzaam om dit op te lossen (direct andere kamer gekregen).
Ideally situated to see everything Sorrento and Amalfi, this hotel is only 30 minutes away from Naples Airport! So what makes this hotel stand out are two things: 1) the grounds - they are stunning - lovely pool and gardens which require exploring in themselves. The pool is magnificent - especially if you’ve had a hard day trying in the heat! We were there for 5 nights and each day we went back to the pool!
2) The service is well worthy of 5 stars. Now to be clear, this isn’t a 5 star place and whilst I’ve rated 5 stars that’s based on the experience. Unconditionally, every person who worked there was brilliant and went above and beyond for you!
So now the location! Assuming you’re wanting to do Sorrento, Amalfi, Pompei etc … this is so incredibly well placed ….. if you have a vehicle! We hired a scooter on the first day - by the way, we’re in our 50s, it was the best thing we did! We did everything and became experts at going into Sorrento! The hotel organised our scooter and it was seamless!
So we saw the best of everything in the day and came back to a wonderful hotel with a wonderful pool! There are some minor changes I would make to the food etc … however for what we paid, the service we received and what we experienced …. Gosh! … amazing! So if you have a vehicle of some sort … we recommend a scooter - the. This is your place! Taxi and Ubers will cost you. Pretty penny in them for little travel!
All in all a great hotel, we will be back

Las instalaciones y el entorno son estupendos. Además, el personal es muy atento.
No me gustó la cama supletoria pues no era de la calidad de un hotel con esta categoría, era un sofá cama con un colchón muy malo. Imposible estar cómodo y dormir bien. Además, en la zona del hotel no hay cobertura de internet y aunque el hotel pone el wifi, no tiene la suficiente calidad como para ver las plataformas de streaming en la TV. Algo que también ya es habitual en cualquier alojamiento. También comentar que aunque la limpieza era muy buena, había hormigas en la habitación, se eliminaban tras la limpieza, pero siempre volvían a salir.

Our stay at the Medusa Hotel - Dimora di Charme at Castellammare di Stabia was a delight. The location is perfect for discovering all the beauties of the Region. The hotel is very charming and very comfortable. The restaurant serves delicious Italian local food.
And finally and most importantly the staff has been most kind and very attentionate during all our stay, with a special mention to Genero for his great professionalism and precious advice.
We highly recommend this charming hotel.
Amazing beautiful hotel with a nice spa, very green, interior is designed with the taste. But best part of our stay was care and hospitality of the staff, and service across all hotel and restaurants was excellent. Also bed was so comfortable, I had the best sleep in years and didn’t want to leave!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The manager in particular was exceptional, giving an overall impression of excellence. The swimming pool was huge and there were plenty of sunbeds, so there was never a feeling of the area being overcrowded. Having waiter service from the sunbed was also a nice touch. The gardens are beautiful and extensive, with plenty of seating for a pre-dinner drink. The food at dinner was excellent and it was lovely to be able to eat on the outside terrace. The shuttle service to the station was helpful and enabled us to catch the train to Sorrento, which is definitely worth a visit. From here you can catch ferries to Capri and Positano etc. After a day trip with the crowds of Sorrento and Capri, La Medusa Hotel felt like an oasis of calm and luxury.
I would have preferred more cooked breakfast options and less cakes.
Mooi hotel op een prachtig domein. Het hotel ligt wel zeer afgelegen. De baan naar het stadje is eigenlijk ook niet echt voor voetgangers bedoeld. Je hebt dus eigenlijk een taxi of auto nodig om je te verplaatsen.
Heel mooi en verwarmd zwembad met uitstekende ligbedjes.
Het ontbijt is niet wat je verwacht voor dergelijk hotel. Het roerei was echt vreemd klaargemaakt (eigenlijk echt niet te eten) en de chocolademelk was niet te drinken. De eerste dag was de watermeloen zuur (dit hebben we gemeld). Indien je een pannenkoek wou of een spiegelei moest je extra bijbetalen (8 euro voor 2 speigeleitjes en 8 euro voor 1 pannenkoek). Als je rekening houdt met de prijs die je betaalt voor dit hotel, is dit er echt wel over. Dit kan niet! Vers fruitsap kon je gratis krijgen op aanvraag, maar je kreeg telkens maar een kwart glaasje. Heel vervelend dat je telkens moest bijvragen. Te meer omdat dit het enige was dat wij dronken bij het ontbijt.

It was a bit isolated, we had to rely on (free) shuttles to get into town and taxi (20€) to get back to the hotel from the city centre after 17:00.
