Super 8 by Wyndham Union

let me start off by saying we stay at Super 8's regularly and this hotel wasn't anywhere close to Super 8 standards. The first 2 rooms that were given to us were so damp and full of moldy air we rejected them. The third room we accepted because we figure cigarette smoke wasn't as bad as mildew. well apparently this hotel has been experiencing issues due to the rain so all of the furniture was "sticky" from the dampness making the bed, chair, sofa and towels damp. Sleeping was impossible due to the "swampy" bed, and we couldn't wait to check out. the3 AC unit looked and smelled as if it had never been cleaned, black mold.The breakfast was a complete joke. a few links of what was supposed to be sausage i guess constitutes "hot breakfast" for this location. We will start staying a few miles to the south to get a decent room.

I had a meeting in the town and stayed at this hotel as this was the only hotel in town. I have stayed at upscale hotels and this hotel being an economic brand I was not expecting much. But I was surprised with the experience. The checkin checkout process was smooth as digital option is available. All staff members were very courteous. The room was very clean, beds comfortable, ac worked well and no road noise was plus. Internet worked without interruption. I saw that there was paint work going on in hotel and I can see that my room was recently painted. Overall it is a well maintained property. I would stay here again.

I would avoid this hotel. The best I can say for it. The beds were ok. The wifi was bad. The pool slimy. The hotel smelled. If I could have gotten my money back and stayed somewhere else I would have.

Very clean and in good location

Staff is friendly, but this is truly a 2-star hotel. Nothing at all fancy and no amenities to speak of. Not a great value for the money. If you have the ability to stay somewhere else, I would recommend that.

The property was well located for our event. I was able to get the first floor across from the pool as requested. The breakfast was fresh. The floors in the room, pool area, hallway, and lobby were really dirty. The air in the room smelled moldy and the room had not been cleaned in awhile. Old Bobby pins on the floor in the bathroom. I mopped and sanitized and we had a good stay. Pool was clean.

It was just so laid back and had a simple layout process was easy stay was easy decent breakfast great pool

It was a very awesome experience. The staff that checked us in was absolutely amazing. The following morning , staff was not as friendly as they could have been. But overall we absolutely enjoyed our experience.

The staff was very friendly. I needed a roll away and they got it as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was good. Waffles and other fresh options
