This was the worst family vacation we've ever had. We found bedbugs in the room on the second night and changed rooms. However, after returning to our country, I got sick and tested positive for Borrelia virus in my blood. According to the doctor, it can be transmitted by bedbugs, and I am still in the hospital for treatment. We deeply regret staying at this hotel.

Niet boeken als je met je gezin komt.
Pros:

Het is een fijne ruime kamer en de bedden slapen goed. Het hotel is netjes en het ontbijt is goed geregeld.

Cons:

Op de Booking-website staat er niet bij vermeld dat er speciale zwemtijden zijn voor kinderen. Dit werd pas na de betaling van mijn reservering vermeld. Ik heb gevraagd of ik mijn reservering nog kon annuleren en mijn geld terug kon krijgen, maar dat wilden ze niet doen. Overdag zijn we namelijk vooral weg en het plan was vooral om na het avondeten te gaan zwemmen. Dit is dus niet mogelijk in dit hotel.

We zijn uiteindelijk nog wel wezen zwemmen in de ochtend, maar dit viel ook extreem tegen. Het zwembad was namelijk voor 2/3 afgesloten voor zwemles van 3 kinderen. Dus slechts 1/3 van het bad was voor hotelgasten, dus er was bijna geen ruimte om te zwemmen. Daarnaast vond ik het vreemd dat mijn 11-jarige dochter niet in het bubbelbad mocht, want in Nederland is dit geen probleem. Dit mocht ook niet onder toezicht van de ouder.

Je mocht daar niet met buitenschoenen lopen of je moest speciale hoezen om je schoenen. Opeens kwam het management een kijkje nemen met 6 man, en die liepen gewoon met hun gewone schoenen en zonder hoezen langs het zwembad waar wij met onze blote voeten lopen.

Ik heb 5 jaar in Londen gewoond en ik wist dat er geen makkelijke/directe metroverbinding was, maar ik nam dit voor lief omdat ik dacht dat de faciliteiten goed genoeg waren om dit te compenseren, maar wat mij betreft hebben de faciliteiten dit niet kunnen compenseren.

De volgende keer ga ik gewoon weer naar de Holiday Inn in West-Kensington waar de hotelprijzen van hetzelfde niveau zijn maar waar de faciliteiten beter geregeld zijn en waar het makkelijk is om central Londen in te komen.

Great location for O2 arena concert. Right next to cable car over the river. Good sleep and excellent breakfast with plenty of choice

Great service, lovely hotel and facilities
Pros:

Loved every moment, the property was spacious and had a beautiful view of the dock, Aqsa was really helpful very bubbly and also we received great service anywhere we went from reception to breakfast everyone was lovely and clearly the team enjoy working there. Thank you for a lovely stay I’d definitely come back!!
