Okay as long as you get a room that is at the back of the hotel and away from the busy road.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The room I stayed in after I asked to be moved was adequate with a comfy bed.

Cons:

On the first night I was given a very substandard room. It was facing a very busy street with dozens of buses pulling up outside til the small hours and then recommencing very early. The windows were single pane and offered no sound proofing. I could not open the windows because of the noise and the room became very hot and stuffy. There was no a/c or fan. Definitely NOT worth what they are charging for that standard of accommodation. After a sleepless night, I had to ask to be moved to another room at the back of the hotel.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt um Dublin zu erkunden.
Pros:

Great Staff, Moderate Jotel
Pros:

The Staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel, though old and in need of an update re., is very well maintained throughout. The breakfast was adequate.

Cons:

No hot water the first night. Access to many rooms required climbing stairs. Location is about half a mile from sights and shopping.

Migliorabile
Pros:

Struttura storica, camera spaziosa. Colazione ok. Personale della reception cordiale.

Cons:

Pulizia alquanto approssimativa, sicuramente non consona a un 4 stelle. Idem i servizi.

OK for a short stay
Pros:

My room was large and the bed was comfortable. The self-service continental breakfast was more than generous with a wide variety of healthy options including lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, seeds, yogurt, eggs, cheeses, cereals, etc. A cooked breakfast was also available in a separate dining room. The hotel is located within walking distance of some of the sights, although some were a fair walk away (20 minutes plus).

Cons:

The hotel is a maze of long, narrow corridors with uneven and creaky floors. The decor throughout is decidedly old-fashioned and cluttered. My bathroom was modern but the shower pressure (on the third floor) was very low. There were a lot of drunks loitering on the main street next to the hotel. As a solo traveller, I did not feel safe walking past them, so I did not go out at night.

Cons:

The housekeeping staff showed up at our door early in the morning and kept insisting that they needed to clean the room, saying they had to finish by 2 PM. We had just come back from a concert and were trying to sleep, but we were woken up by the housekeeping noise at around 9 AM, which was extremely frustrating.
The cleaning itself was also very poor. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, and even the trash in the room had not been taken out.
Overall, the housekeeping service was absolutely terrible and affected our stay
