Though very nicely represented online, we were a bit disappointed by the conditions and area itself.
Pros:

The room/bathroom smelled of mold very strongly and could have used some more cleaning. The area was slightly less desirable than advertised as well.

Pros:

Ruhiges Hotel in zentraler Lage, sehr schönes Ambiente; unsere Motorräder könnten wir in abgeschlossenen Innenhof abstellen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich mit allen, was man sich wünscht, man hat die Wahl zwischen Full English und Continental.
Täglicher Zimmerservice im großen gemütlichen Zimmer.

Cons:

Wir hatten nicht zu meckern!

Very nice hotel, well worth a visit.
Pros:

In a good location for public transport and some places within reasonable walking distance for those able to do so. Hotel has a quirky feel about it with lots of quiet areas to relax in. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and other meals were very good. Entertainment in the evening good also. Room was comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Re-think staying here
Pros:

The staff were amazing. The location is pretty good. The room was large and the beds were comfortable.

Cons:

We did not enjoy our stay at Castle Hotel. The corridors are a maze of uneven floors and low ceilings. The restaurant has no natural light and feels like a dungeon. There was so much noise and light entering our room, from outside but also from inside the hotel. The shower was an absolute nightmare - only a tiny trickle of water that was impossible to wash ourselves under. We asked for someone to come and look at it, but no one did. We didn't feel clean the three nights we were there.

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre
Pros:

Ein tolles altes Haus mit Flair, tolles Frühstück ( sogar full vegan Irish breakfast, siehe Foto)- Zimmer war recht klein, aber ruhig und sehr nett ( ich vermute, kein Zimmer gleicht dem anderen..)

Cons:

Da altes Haus manchmal verwinkelte, kleine Gänge mit vielen Niveauunterschieden im Haus - möglicherweise für Gehbehinderte nicht ideal

Pros:

Staff were super helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

When we asked for a packed meal because we were leaving before breakfast, there was no napkin in the pack. This was after we had a packed meal and I specifically asked that a napkin be included. I know this is a minor issue but someone wasn't listening. And napkins are cheap.

Pros:

We loved our stay. Beds were sufficiently comfortable. Food was good. Music in the Vault was great. It was a short walk to the city center, shopping, and the Liffey.

Cons:

The hotel was a little confusing but signage helped a lot. The parking lot was difficult to park in with our 7-seater car.
