Right on Guincho/Cresmina Beach
Pros:

Very good location if you like to be close to the beach at Guincho, where you can surf and enjoy the sun in amazing surroundings. Hotel could be more updated, but has a special charm to it.

Endroit exceptionnel, bel investissement dans les chambres, les abords et extérieurs sont surannés.
Pros:

Les chambres ont été rénovées, sont propres et agréable. L'emplacement est exceptionnel. Les intérieurs sont très propres.

Cons:

Les extérieurs et communs datent encore de la création de l'établissement, soit juste après guerre... le bâtiment, exposé à l'air marin, je peux comprendre même si dommage; par contre la piscine est assez surréaliste. Etre bloqué 30+' dans l'ascenseur au départ était très peu agréable, et donne le temps de lire la notice des dates de son entretien, ceci explique cela...

Paradise beach that we never got tired of watching from the sand, the beach bars or the room.
Pros:

The location!!! Wow! Right on the beach that is not touristy at all, quiet, soft sand, breathtaking sunsets and 30mins from the airport. The hotel is quirky and mixture of old and new but it has real character. The staff were great, they played the World Cup in the bar every night and had a few lounges and places to eat and drink. Great food and good prices. Get the sea view room it’s worth every penny!

Cons:

I’m not snobbish about some of the decor looking tired, it’s an old renovated fort, looking at the history of the place it looks like it peaked in the 1970s and 1980s, that said it has been modernised in most places and kept its original character, I liked it, traditional, if you’re looking for super modern maybe not for you, if you’re open minded to some traditional Portuguese decor amoungst new renovation you’re in luck!

Leider entsprach die Unterkunft in keiner Weise den Erwartungen, die durch die Beschreibung und die Bilder auf Ihrer Plattform geweckt wurden. Die Zustände vor Ort waren inakzeptabel und haben unseren Aufenthalt erheblich beeinträchtigt. Folgende Mängel mussten wir feststellen: - Im gesamten Hotel, insbesondere auf den Gängen und in unserem Zimmer, herrschte ein sehr unangenehmer, muffiger Geruch. - Im Badezimmer und in der Dusche befand sich deutlich sichtbarer Schimmel. - Die Zimmerdecken waren schmutzig und wiesen zahlreiche Flecken auf. - Die Fenster waren so verschmutzt, dass sie kaum durchsichtig waren. Die Fensterrahmen waren brüchig, verwittert und teilweise rostig. - Beim Frühstück waren die Geräte und Bereiche des Buffets sichtbar verschmutzt und entsprachen nicht den hygienischen Standards. - Erst nach längerer Diskussion erhielten wir ein anderes Zimmer. Dieses wurde uns nur widerwillig zur Verfügung gestellt und befand sich ebenfalls nicht in einem sauberen und zufriedenstellenden Zustand. Die tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten weichen erheblich von den auf Booking.com veröffentlichten Fotos und der Beschreibung ab. Wir haben die Unterkunft in gutem Glauben aufgrund der Darstellung auf Ihrer Plattform gebucht und fühlen uns getäuscht und sind enttäuscht
