Hidden gem - would return and recommend
Pros:

The location was absolutely perfect. Could walk everywhere - honestly couldn’t have been better.

Felt safe as a solo traveller.

Room was spacious. Yes it was old fashioned but a bit of character is good! Absolutely no complaints, bed comfortable, shower nice and warm with good pressure, very clean.

Fridge and kettle in room - as well as 2 bottles of water

Luggage storage (with lock) was great.

Reception staff friendly.

Reasonable price for what it is!

Cons:

I liked everything and would return.

Just in case it helps anyone to know, there isn’t a lift.

Historische Anlage in guter Lage
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Die historische Anlage ist auch schön, nur leicht renovierungsbedürftig.

Cons:

Das W-Lan reichte nicht bis ins Zimmer. Das Bad war in die Jahre gekommen. Die Papierkörbe waren bei Anreise nicht geleert. 4-Sterne-Standard wird hier m. E. nicht geboten.
