Perfect location
All great
Property was very clean with a tasteful nautical theme. It is conveniently located next to the ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. There are also several good restaurants nearby.
My only complaint was the lack of parking. I came back fairly late on a Saturday night while it was raining and could not find a vacant spot in the lot. The staff did accommodate me by allowing me to park overnight in the spots reserved for checking in.
Lage Hotel und Parkmöglichkeiten.
Frühstück im Hotel war leider weniger zufriedenstellend ! Service langsam, Essen nicht besonders !
The location.
Had to pay 28 dollars a day for parking. Parking was tight. Fees were exaggerated brought from 217 dollars a night to 300 dollars a night. Room was not fully clean, hair left over in bathroom. Bathroom fan noisy. Bed was very hard to sleep on.
I had an unpleasant experience checking in to the hotel. The first room we were given was moldy and smelled like mildew from the second we walked in. I called the front desk and they said to come back upfront to get a new room, they had plenty of others available. When I got down there, they claimed they no longer could switch my room. after 45 minutes of waiting at the front desk and much back-and-forth with the employee and the manager, they were calling, they finally switched us out for a different room type. that room ended up being right next to the exit of the building so we were hearing people come and go all morning. It also had an alarm clock that went off at 6 AM for absolutely no reason at all.
when we checked out, there were many hidden fees that were not properly explained to me at the begining. We paid $332 For our room in advance and did not expect an extra $61 of charges at check-in. The manager was supposed to reach out to me, but has been completely radio silent. The hotel has a good location, but the service was questionable and so was the room.
The rooms were very nice, very appealing and great quality. The facilities were very nice with pools, hot tubs and fire pits. Very clean and welcoming.
Wasn't happy about paying for parking at a hotel you are paying to stay at. The first room we were given was next to a restaurant and the ac system and people were outside the window making a lot of noise. They did move us to another room after I went and complained about the room. That room had a nicer view and was very quiet.
Hotel is clean and centrally located. The bed was comfortable and overall our stay was pleasant. The room assignment had two doors of which only one worked and I hope they have since corrected it.
I had a pair of noise canceling Bose Headphones that I listen to at night to help with my hearing issue while I sleep. I zipped them up in a black case but I left them in the room. I have called but the housekeeping staff did not turn in the headphone. I know I had them because I need them to sleep. So it is very disappointing to know that someone kept them and did not turn them in.
Parking lot full at night, no spots available to park! Asked front desk where to park and they recommend outside hotel. Its too far and very inconvenient long walk. Slide door at bath shower cant stay closed. Air conditioning not cooling properly. Price is too expensive for many issues.
Room was nice, cleanliness was good in the room and throughout the property, well maintained. The location is excellent but because of this it is way over priced.
Check-in team was overwhelmed and slow, the team were visibly flustered and the trainee who checked us in didn't know anything about the hotel, facilities, or the local area. It was confusing and extremely slow. The alarm clock went off at 5am after being set by a previous guest, that was very annoying - shouldn't that be reset for each stay?
this is a great value for what you get. It’s very conveniently located right next to the ferry however, that’s where it ends. The staff isvery unaccommodating and they Do not go out out of their way for you we have asked A couple issues that needed to be resolved and we got I’m sorry we cannot help you with those things Is too late and housekeeping is not here for example our duvet had a hole in it and feathers were going everywhere and I couldn’t breathe. choked me. I called them and they said sorry we can’t help you housekeeping is gone.
The location of the hotel is the best in Hyannis! You can walk downtown; many restaurants, shops, and to the ferry service in the harbor.
We enjoyed the pool during the day, although it is busy, so seating can be limited. Each evening, we enjoyed sitting in the common area near the firepit to enjoy a "nightcap". Our room overlooked the back parking lot, which wasn't ideal, but it did allow us an early check-in.
Our room was clean and at the end of the hall, so quiet.
All the staff we interacted with were polite and helpful!
We were excited to go to Cape Cod and our first stay at the hotel was extremely poor. The front desk ladies were very nice and friendly and that is all the positive things we can say about the hotel. The rooms were not cleaned everyday (bathroom, shower) not were the beds in second bedroom. My kids rooms were not cleaned or bed made (and they are pretty tidy and nothing was on the beds in the morning). It was a very disappointing experience based on the amount of money we paid for the stay.
Hotel charges you amenities fee but if you don't use the gym or the pool, what are you paying for? No glassware for water or wine, no mugs for coffee. All you get is paper cups. The room gives you 2 bottles of water on the first day of check in, but that's it. You want bottled water after that, you have to purchase it from the deli across the street. They do have a coin-operated washer and dryer, but no supplies you can purchase. So unless you brought you own detergent and dryer sheets, you are out of luck. No balcony, and room looks into the noisy parking lot. Beware of changing room prices. If you book your room through one of the online sites be sure to take the pay later option so you can cancel and rebook the room when the price of the room drops. Overall, not impressed with this place and would look somewhere else next time.
I booked this hotel after seeing the beautiful rooms advertised on the website. Unfortunately, when I checked in, I was surprised to learn that I had been assigned a room in a separate, much older section of the property about a block away from the main hotel, far from the pools, hot tubs, and other amenities shown in the photos.
To make matters worse, my first room was on the second floor, and there are NO ELEVATORS! After requesting a different room, I was moved the following day, but I couldn’t access the new room until that evening and my luggage was still locked in the first room.
The replacement room has a serious ant problem. At first, I noticed only a few ants and left a note for housekeeping. They told me I needed to call the front desk instead. That was two days ago.
This morning I woke up to ants everywhere, on the end tables, around the television, and throughout the room. I’ve now called the front desk twice, and nothing has been done. At this point, I’m sitting outside in the afternoon because there are simply too many ants in the room to be comfortable. I’m honestly wondering if I need to go buy my own ant spray if I want the problem addressed.
The website presents one experience, but my stay has been something entirely different.
