Hyannis Harbor Hotel

We had so much fun in Hyannis with our family of 4. It was extremely convenient and walkable to everything. We enjoyed the pools and restaurant and the hotel was clean and felt historic! Just what we were looking for.

Location and Staff was excellent

Great location on the bay and to good restaurants. Rooms had just been renovated with a nautical look - soemwhat tasteful. Bathroom was very small, nice size shower, foul odor lingered - minimal toiletries. Diappointed in the maid service being below average and the appearance of the pool water was cloudy and a little discolored. A bit pricey but then so is everything in the Cape. The website photographs of the rooms and property are a little misleading.

Location, atmosphere, front office staff, housekeeping, the room, noise level, and available amenities are all great. However, the cleanliness of the outdoor pool and deck was extremely poor. Old straws were on the ground. No one picked up the trash left on the pool deck. The staff was not pleasant at all. The bartenders actually refused to make drinks and would not acknowledge you. They were either understaffed or incompetent.

Great location, nice place overall, with great outside seating areas. Price was pretty good for all that was available or nearby. The hotel was generally clean, however the pool area/pool water needed some serious attention. Food was okay, basic resort offerings. The bar service at the hotel restaurant (Bluewater Grille) was extremely slow - 20 minutes at least, to get an adult beverage, and that is with only a couple people in line ahead. Located across the street from the Ferry, and is in close proximity to a few nice restaurants within a couple minutes walking distance. I probably will return in the future, I just hope they address the pool water issues, which I have reported to the General Manager.

Every summer for the last 6 years I return to Hyannis with two of my girlfriends and our kids. We love the shopping and the beaches. Our focus is getting on the dancefloor for one night with just the moms to have dinner then dancing at Torino's. We just love our mom's night out. This year we decided to try Hyannis Harbor Hotel for our stay as it was just us mom's this year. To say it was a nice place to stay is underrated. It was a beautifully remodeled room, the pool area was fantastic and we felt safe and secure staying there. We talked about booking it again for next year, we loved it so much. Thank you Hyannis Harbor Hotel!

We returned to this property because of a previous sta years ago . While at first we thought it was good because of the new expansion and it looked nice we realized real fast it the lack of everything. We came in late and really didn’t get into the room to see everything until the light of the morning. Woke up to the smell of mold started to check and realized the wall by the nightstand was covered in the floor as well as outlet something u could see while doing the simple housekeeping of dusting it was creeping up all over the wall about head board and wall.

Next the shower curtain had hug spots again something visible to eye as well as spots all all over bathroom floor . Simple cleaning no scrub needed .

The office was busy and we needed to be to our destination so we had to deal

Next checkout the bill.. they charge the same fees doubled each night crazy what for . first off one fee is plenty. I don’t see the reason for two each night same fee. And parking and everything else

Last and above all the banging and banging all day and night seems crazy to me .
Way too much . Anyways this was the end of of our mini staycation and it was not good

At checkout all they had to say was sorry. I don’t think that’s the approach for something u are paying a high price for and double fees and I do think this will be a problem with other people in near future . As a matter of fact someone was arguing the same about the bill as I waited .

Sorry doesn’t it cut it for mold .

The place is in prime location for ferry to Martha’s and it does look nice on the outside but that’s it

Hello, my name is Arthur Xible. I work in Hyannis and always stay at your hotel. I usually use my personal card to cover the security deposit, but this time two transactions went through! That isn't right—for one of them, I wasn't even in Hyannis. I’d hate to be left with a bad impression, so I assume it was just a mistake and that my money will be refunded. Thanks for your attention! I’ll be back there on Tuesday, but I look forward to the refund before then.Fantastic

Nice hotel with a few hickups. Check in is at 4, but I didn't get into my room unitl 5:30 which is unacceptable. They offered me a 10% refund for one night for the time, but I am yet to see that refund. Room was large and spotless and tastfully decorated, bathroom was nice with the standard amenitites. Bed was comfortable along with nice pillows. and the location was supurb! The safe in my room , on the other hand, did not lock. I called the font desk and they said the would send someone up. No one came so I took all my valuable out with me. The next morning I called again and they send down an "engineer", who could not fix it. He said he has to call the owner who has a code. He never come back, but I did see him the next day at the pool doing towel duty, he asked me if the safe ever got fixed and I told him to "just forget about it". The pool was nice and warm and equally clean. I got a delicious drink (Blue Water Breeze) while sitting at the pool. I went back to the restaurant for dinner that night and had the baked cod, which was way too salty! Nice stay all-in-all, I would definetely come back!

We stayed for 5 nights and Hyannis Harbor Hotel proved to be the perfect home base for our Cape Cod vacation. The room had been recently remodeled and was both fashionable and clean. The hotel is located in a very convenient spot, right at the docks, only yards from the Hy-Line ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The stores and restaurants of Main Street are also easily walkable. I highly recommend and would return for a future trip to the Cape.

This is our third time my family has stayed at Hyannis Harbor Hotel. It is a great hotel conveniently close to the Hy Line Ferry terminal. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and there are some great restaurants in walking distance to the hotel. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Rooms are noisy. They are clean. Beds are firm and pillows are very uncomfortable. Restaurant is mediocre but you can walk elsewhere. The pool is nice but needs more chairs.
We stayed last year and it was great. This year was not worth the price.

This hotel is not advisable to stay . My friends warned me that it was bad and i didnt listen. The service is next to none, called and requested pillows waited 3 hours and never got a response. When i called again they said they were coming but never did. Left a note for the housekeeper and it was ignored. They just dont care and it shows. No amenities other than soap and shampoo. Charging outlets were for outdated phones. I give it a 2 out of 10 and recommend you stay elsewhere

We have stayed at multiple sister properties in the past and had good experiences. This time, the service and communication regarding issues was poor. Liked the location and access to the pool/pool deck.

Check-in was not good. Had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes beyond check-in time for a room. The door closer was broken and it was very difficult to open and close the door - safety issue.

It took 48 hours to receive communication in response to our messages while on property. We were given compensation of $56 for our inconvenience, which seemed weak to me.

Great location, rooms and common areas very attractive. Housekeeping mediocre at best, Would forget to empty the trash, leave linens, coffee packs etc. Check in was at 4p, room not ready until 530p. Another day, our room still being cleaned at 530p.
