It did the job
Curtain blind didn't work so I had no curtains
Location in the centre of town and easily accessible. Room clea and comfortable.
Noisy, other guests banging doors alot if the early hours but other than that except the WiFi not working so has to run TV through my own data everything else was ok

Shower dreadful, ran it for five minutes but still only lukewarm water, poor water pressure and lots of black mould on walls. No soap, except in shower, toilet almost impossible to flush. Room too hot to sleep, could not turn off radiator. Bed OK, receptionist polite, friendly and helpful. Probably a grand hotel by standards of 100 years ago, changed little.

They could of been a car park with the hotel but therexwas not and i think it is wrong thatcwe had to pay for car park aswell
The lady behind the bar who greeted us. The sheets were clean.
The room was small and not clean. We found a 1/4 full wine bottle of yellow liquid on the windowcill on arrival. There were stains on the wall where it looked like liquid had been thrown on them and left. The carpet was stained. The shower was tiny . Water took 3 minutes to get hot then almost impossible to regulate temperature. There was a wierd smell that was like coming from the hand basin. Had to keep the plug in with some water in basin to stop most of it. 1/4 roll of toilet paper only. Other rooms must have been the same or worse as the bar lady told me later 3 people saw them and just left. We only stayed as we had travelled 6 hours by train and after carting
bags and cases up 2 flights of stairs ( no lift) we were to tired to try to find anywhere else to go. Was a long weekend so none available.nearby anyway.
Bed matresses need replacing.By far the worst acomadation we have had in our 10 weeks of travel.

You could feel all the springs on the mattress it wasn't clean, and corridors were dirty and tired, and there was mucky toilet paper on the floor next to the toilet. The room was in need of renovation, wouldn't stay ended up leaving and paying an £30 to get a taxi home.

Nothing at all. The staff are not helpful very rude. The cleaner doesn’t come round found the biggest chunk of hair down the drain of the shower disgusting. The tv was broken and there wasn’t any coffee sugar or milk in room had to buy own.
