A good option in Venice, but go out for breakfast and be prepared for heat.
Pros:

We liked the quiet location on a canal. We liked our room size and breakfast available on site.

Cons:

Two of the three rooms did not have adequate air conditioning. Our rooms were nearly 80 degrees which felt stifling. The breakfast was barely adequate for the price.

Fab time in Venice
Pros:

Our room was clean and spacious and had great storage with old fashioned furniture which was befitting to the venetian design and history.
Staff were warm, friendly and very helpful.
Good selection of teas and coffees in the room and fresh milk is brought to your room when you ask for it.
Mini bar stocked well although we bought our own drinks and kept them in the fridge.
Air conditioning welcome in the heat!
No idea why some people moaning about the breakfast! There were hot selections (sausages, scrambled eggs and other bits) and bread to toast. Fresh croissants some plain and some filled. I particularly liked the chocolate ones! Then there is cereals (ask for fresh milk) and a yogurt dispensing machine. Fresh fruit and the usual meats and cheeses for continental breakfast. Fresh honeycomb and jams, marmalade, Nutella etc. Small cakes/muffins and American style pancakes and maple syrup.
Seriously you wont go hungry!
Fresh coffee to pour from and hot milk and if you want a pot of tea the staff will make it. If you don't ask well then that's your problem not the hotels!
Definitely would go again and the location was perfect 👌🏼

Cons:

If I am to be really picky, it would have been nice if the terrace bar was open in the evenings.

Would not book again
Pros:

Hotel itself may be fine,however even though they confirmed to our travel agent that we would be in the main building we were in the annexe.Very tired and dated room.No irons available.Fridge doesn’t work.Breakfast room had an awful atmosphere and same breakfast every morning which was just passable.Meant to be a four star hotel but paper cups in room and no milk unless you asked doesn’t make it feel great.Shower over bath was v difficult to get out of and I’m not unfit.
Location was it’s selling point but definitely not a four star hotel
