Everything was comfortable, staff were kind, helpful, and authentic, ordered food from bar and it was good, enjoyed my stay, would return.
I expected the room to have a toaster somewhere in the cupboards, didn't find one and didn't ask if one was available, so minor detail.
Clean, breakfast was good, in good location to where I had to be, love Wegmans next door.
I had originally reserved a room with a full kitchen, and when I got to the hotel, they upgraded me to two rooms, which was great, but it didn't have the full kitchen that I was ready to cook in .. I thought I was gonna get a full stove full refrigerator. So my food went to waste and I ate out more than I'd like to admit.
My room was clean, and I was upgraded to a suite.
I wish I could have stayed longer.
Great location near multiple restaurants and takeout opportunities. Very quiet. Lots of parking. Nice hotel, well maintained.
Close to rail stations. Good accommodations.
Easy to get to the airport from this hotel. Lovely and clean atmosphere. My upgrade to a suite made my stay extra special.
The woman at the desk was polite, but she told us there was no room for us - even though we had a confirmed reservation.
Being told at 8:00 at night that there was no room for us - even though we had a confirmed reservation.
We checked in and we're greeted by Deynasia (i hope i spelled it correctly apologies if not) she was so welcoming and had a great personality. Elaine also was a pleasure to be welcomed by and assisting with our late check out. The rooms are spacious and yes the pillows can be upgraded but ither than poved our stay. We will be back for sure
be prepared for the full amount of your stay plus incidentals to be held on your card upon check in and then charged again in full at check out prior to the initial hold being cleared so therefore over double the amount due being held on your card
O Hotel é razoável, mas caro pelo qie cobra a diária, o café da manhã é muito ruim
Café da manhã
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Hyatt House White Plains while trying to manage a room block for an important event.
I reserved a block of rooms, and several of my guests attempted to book using the provided code. They were told the block was “full,” which turned out to be inaccurate. When I checked just two days before the event, there were still eight rooms available — but by then, my guests were unable to use them due to timing restrictions.
I tried repeatedly to resolve this issue. I called multiple times, sent emails, and was transferred from person to person with no real help. The Director of Sales eventually stopped responding to my emails altogether. I even went so far as to go to the hotel in person — in my pajamas, no less — because I was so desperate to fix the situation, and still no one would properly speak with me or assist me.
What makes this especially disappointing is that years ago, I had a great experience at this location. Unfortunately, since then, the management has declined significantly. The current lack of responsiveness, accountability, and basic customer service is unacceptable.
Managing an event is stressful enough without having to chase support that should be readily available. I chose Hyatt expecting professionalism and reliability, but this experience fell far short of that standard. I will never stay here again.
Sadly, I would not recommend this location for anyone needing dependable coordination, especially for group bookings or events.
