Safe & homely space for Almaty
Pros:

Took the single room, the size was perfect. Got homely really quickly. Comfortable. Location was descent. Lighting switches and electrical points were convenient, spot on and easily accessible.

Cons:

Breakfast options were not great for foreigners.

The walkway to the rooms were motion sensored. Hence, at night, it gets quite scary. Bed was too soft for my liking. TV channels were limited in terms of language options.

Location was a bit further north than all the restaurants.

Modernes Stadthotel
Pros:

Angenehmes Hotel mit allem Komfort. Die Zimmer sind nicht sonderlich groß, aber mit allem ausgestattet. Alles ist sehr sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Sehr bequemes Bett. Ich würde hier wieder übernachten.

Cons:

Im sehr winzigen Schrank ist auch noch ein Bügelbrett, welches auch noch Platz weg nimmt.
Keinerlei Cerealien wie z.B. Müsli oder Haferflocken beim Frühstücksbuffet.

Второй раз я бы не хотел останавливаться в этом отеле
Cons:

В отеле считают что одной пары тапочек на 2 гостей достаточно. Просьбы ответить на это остались без ответа,. Справедливости ради - тапочки принесли после 3-4 напоминаний часов в 11 вечера. Заселение было около 13 часов .
В отеле не считают нужным убирать номер перед заселением новых гостей.
В душевой было грязно
