An enjoyable 4 nights directly on the beach of Lake Michigan!
Pros:

Great location for visiting Traverse City - not directly in the main part of the city so it was quieter and less hectic. Within driving distance of Sleeping Bear Dunes which is a must see. Our room had a lake/beach view with balcony which we enjoyed greatly. The room was very comfortable and clean. Most of the staff were very friendly. Entire hotel is right on the beach with chairs provided. Shower and water pressure is great! Attached restaurant was nice for a rainy evening when we didn’t want to get out in the rain. Coffee and hot tea available in lobby all day and the coffee was actually drinkable (unlike a lot of hotel coffee)! Overall a great 4 night stay!

Cons:

A little outdated and could use a refresh in the main lobby and hallways. Breakfast could have a little more effort.

10/10 recommend, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at!
Pros:

Everything was amazing. The staff was so nice. Everything was clean and fairly updated. Smart TV was a major plus. I loved having beach access, literally just steps to the beach. Free breakfast was actually really good, banana bread was so yummy. The restaurant/bar is also really good, the bartenders were great. Fairly close to attractions and restaurants.

Cons:

I wish they had bigger pillows, especially for the king sized beds. I would bring my own next time. The indoor pool was a little cold for my liking but it was semi chilly outside. My remote for the TV didn’t work but the staff replaced it, they’re very helpful.

I liked the view and how our bedroom was nice. Bathroom too.

Cons:

The stain curtains has to go. The only table to eat on, was very unstable. If they would fix the table, put new curtains up, and even maybe add a few extra dishes for cooking and prepping, it would be a good place to stay at. I would recommend them putting a table on the deck too. Maybe also cleaning the deck area a little more. A lot of cobwebs.

We loved the location and how easy it was to take little children there. The Beach, indoor pool and close by playground were all big hits, not to mention the ice cream truck near the playground.
