It was enjoyable and I would visit again.
Pros:

The Location was great, friendly and helpful staff

Cons:

The breakfast the 2nd morning we where there was very chaotic, the dining room was very packed and there was no seats available.
So we went out for breakfast.

Pleasant but the rooms should be larger for the prices charged per night.
Pros:

Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Staff topped up the hot trays regularly.

Cons:

The bedroom was very small considering the cost of £250 per night. The bathroom was bijou and had one door serving as a door from the lobby and as a door for privacy for the toilet area! Hotel carpets in these types of hotel always look tired and unclean. Not sure what the answer is, I guess people prefer a carpet for comfort in a bedroom and in the corridors a carpet is quieter to walk on than a more hard wearing floor which would be practical and easier to keep spotless.

Not a huge room but so functional. So many power points and charging points beside the bed.
Great access to the tram to get up to city centre.

Cons:

No fridge ( its an Aussie thing 🤣) but we've become used to no fridges in Scotland

A very pleasant stay with wonderful, friendly staff.
Pros:

Very nice staff, a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Cons:

It’s a little far from the city centre and the breakfast wasn’t really to our taste, the food was quite heavy and there weren’t many lighter options to choose from.
