Very helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast. It's a nice harbour area.
Location is far from the city center, but easily accessed by bus or tram. Not a problem.

It was convenient to travel to the hotel because of nearby tram station. Hotel was Clean and Tidy.
The price could have been lower for just 1 night stay !
The staff were lovely. The room was clean. The breakfast was enough for the fact that its included. Transport was near and easy to use. They do have a evening menu which helped a lot as we were tired and didn't want to have to travel far again into town to find dinner. The food was nice too.
The location is quick far away from anything really. You need to take transport to go anywhere worth seeing. But it is a nice quite area. The food seating area didn't feel very homely. My younger sister said it felt scary, she's very shy and maybe it felt cramped and felt perhaps a bit like a canteen. Rather than a dining area. It was a shame as there was a lot of construction going on near the port so we didn't get to there to see it.
Convenient location, big room.
Nothing.

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh – Leith Waterfront. The hotel is in a convenient location with excellent access to the city centre.
My stay at Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh – Leith Waterfront had several disappointing aspects. The air conditioning was quite noisy, and we later discovered the filter had not been cleaned. On arrival, one of the coffee cups in the room was dirty, which we had to report to reception for replacement. Additionally, despite leaving a sign requesting cleaning after our first night, the room and en-suite were not serviced. Overall, the lack of attention to cleanliness and housekeeping was disappointing.
Breakfast Room was busy but staff kept an eye on the queue and very quickly seated people when others vacated tables.
Also, there was a lady (Sylvia) who was very welcoming and cheery, not long started, what a gem.
Room was tidy and clean.
Location was good, tram very close for travel to city centre.
The car park charges, I don't mind paying but I think £11 for 24hrs is poking fingers in eyes, I would like to know how whoever runs those machines and sets the prices, how do they justify that cost?
