Super! bien placé, grand parking, restaurants et plages à proximité
Pros:

l'emplacement et le parking est un réel atout. les chambres sont confortables et la literie est très agréable. Nous y retournerons, c'est sur.

Cons:

Nous avions des voisins un peu bruyant et l'isolation sonores des chambres n'étaient pas optimales mais nous restons très satisfaits de notre séjour.

No swimming
Pros:

Heated pool is not even warm. Was not able to enjoy a swim with the kids. We had gone during the fall and the pool was cold but this time around it was over 80 degrees in the middle of summer and the pool was still cold!

Grateful it was close to our event on the beach. Would not stay there again. Priced like a cute boutique hotel but still

Good location. Nice coffee shop.

Cons:

Rooms smelled terribly of cigarettes, loud/old air conditioning, mildew on shampoo and soap, street noise, lipstick on a pig type of renovation

Pros:

Terrible service, weird waiver on sign in, you will be given the wrong room and gaslit about it. NOT CLEAN. There are plenty of cheaper options with real housekeeping and more than one elevator in Hermosa.

Solid stay. Some great.Some not great things
Pros:

We had a good experience here and very much liked the clean fresh smelling room and location. Great AC !
There was a grocery store and restaurant very close by and the beach/Hermosa pier was just a bit over a mile walk. Tons of restaurants and bars there!
Parking is on site, but it is $35 a day.
They had a small cafe counter open only in the morning for coffee/light breakfast. No restaurant for lunch/dinner and no bar.
The outside space was very game/kid friendly. Pool and hot tub were small but clean. Front seat area had a small gift shop that also had beer and wine “to-go”.
A few areas for improvement:
The staff was inconsistently friendly. There was only 1 beach towel and 1 set up for coffee in the room. Ice machine did not work this morning. They were out of beach towels one morning. The water was out of service for “routine maintenance” from 2-4pm one day - so a bit inconvenient that day. We had to request maid service one day (we only wanted it one time).

Overall we liked it, but it could be better with some focus on the things noted.

Bed Bugs and Bad Management
Pros:

This place has bed bugs, and I've been trying to connect with the management team for over two weeks about it. I told the front desk, emailed photos and a video, emailed the manager 3 times, and called a dozen times. No one is getting back to me and whenever I reach the front desk, the person I speak with had no idea anyone had reported bed bugs.
