장기 투숙에 탁월한 넓은 레지던스, 편리한 교통, 조용한 입지, 고급 어메니티와 충실하게 준비된 편의시설, 최고의 루프톱
Pros:

번화가에서 약간 벗어난 조용한 주택가 입지라 조용하고 쾌적한 숙박을 원하는 분들께 최적의 레지던스 호텔이라고 생각합니다. 교토 역에서 가라스마선으로 한 정거장 거리에 있고, 걸어서 5~8분 거리에 교토 시내버스 58, 202, 207, 208번을 탈 수 있는 구조가와라마치 정거장, 가모강 다리 건너 게이한선 도후쿠지역이 있어서 투숙하는 내내 이동이 번거롭거나 불편하지 않았습니다. 시조 인근처럼 호텔 바로 앞 다카세강(냇가)이 가로수와 함께 예쁘게 정돈된 느낌은 아니지만 나름 주변에 차분한 느낌을 더해줘서 좋았습니다. 걸어서 5~8분 거리에 로손 스토어 100 구조가와라마치점이 있어 레지던스 장기 투숙 시 필요한 식료품과 물품을 구입하기 좋습니다. (동네 분들이 이용하는 수퍼마켓 수준입니다.)

당연히 레지던스 스위트라 넓고 쾌적한 느낌이 좋습니다. 현관부가 넓고 벤치가 있어서 신발을 신고 벗기 좋았으며 옷걸이가 있어 외투나 옷가지를 정리해두기 좋았습니다. 현관부와 거실이 미닫이문으로 나뉘어져 있어서 프라이빗한 공간이 조성되어 정말 좋았습니다. 제가 묵었던 코너 룸은 침실 2실 + 거실 + 제트 욕조 및 샤워실 + 세면실 + 화장실 + 주방 및 세탁실로 구성되어 있었습니다. 외측 침실은 퀸 베드 1개가 놓여있고, 거실과 미닫이문을 사이에 둔 내측 침실에는 퀸 베드 1개와 싱글 베드 1개가 있었습니다. 모든 침대가 매우 편안했고 베개도 제게는 편했네요. 욕실부와 주방을 제외한 침실과 거실에는 개별 에어컨이 설치되어 있어서 매우 쾌적했습니다.

거실에는 공간이 넓어서 여장을 풀고 정리하기에 너무나도 좋았습니다. 내측 침실에서 미닫이문을 열고 시청해도 좋을 정도로 큰 대형 LG 스마트 TV가 있어서 객실에 있는 동안 NHK와 KBS(교토방송)을 비롯한 로컬 채널(4~5개 정도?)을 시청하며 여행에 중요한 정보를 얻을 수 있었습니다.

주방은 의외로 매우 간단하게 준비되어 있었습니다. 2구 인버터 쿡톱, 싱크대, 컵과 접시, 볼, 숟가락과 젓가락, 포크, 라면 3~4개 정도 끓여먹을 크기의 냄비와 계란 후라이 2~3개 해먹을 정도의 프라이팬이 있습니다. 주방세제와 스펀지까지는 있지만 요리에 필요한 식용유 같은 건 없어서 편의점에서 소형으로 구입해야 했네요. (전에 묵었던 다른 레지던스에는 식용유, 케첩, 마요네즈 같은 게 있었던 기억이...) 냉장고는 넉넉해서 장기 투숙에 적절했습니다. 1층에 있는 유료 세탁기도 이용 가능하지만 저는 울 세제를 따로 사서 객실 내 세탁기로 세탁하고 건조대로 말려서 옷을 갈아입었네요.

욕실도 너무 좋습니다. 제트 욕조와 레인샤워기, 기본 제공되는 욕실 어메니티(샴푸, 린스, 바디솝, 페이셜 클렌저 및 로션 세트)는 가히 4~5성급이라 해도 좋을 정도에요. 특히 샴푸와 린스, 바디솝은 머스키한 향기도 좋았지만 보습력과 세정력도 너무 좋았어요. 찾아서 집에 사가볼까 생각이 들 정도였어요. 레인샤워기는 정말 경험했던 것 중의 톱클래스라 할 수 있습니다. 제트 욕조가 있어서 굳이 온천을 방문하지 않아도 좋을 정도에요. 저는 돈키호테에서 입욕제를 종류별로 사서 거의 매일 목욕을 즐겼습니다.

이 레지던스 호텔이 갖춘 장점의 화룡점정이라 하자면 루프톱 시설입니다. 주변에 시야를 가리는 건물이 없어 6층 옥상에서는 교토 전역의 파노라마 전망을 바라보며 티 타임이나 간단한 도시락을 즐길 수 있어요. 너무 덥거나 춥거나 하지 않은 좋은 날씨라면 저녁에는 꼭 시간을 내어 옥상에서 석양을 즐겨보세요. 솔직히 이거 하나만으로도 이곳에서 숙박할 이유가 충분하다는 생각이 들 정도입니다.

도움이 필요할 때 프런트 직원들이 일본어, 영어로 즉각적으로 대응해 주셨던 던 점이 좋았습니다. 다소 부정확한 표현이었는데도 제대로 알아듣고 도움을 주셨던 점 진심으로 감사드립니다.

Cons:

1. 방음 시설 & 내측 침실에서 들리는 층간 소음: 직원 퇴근 이후 소음 관련 민원에 대해 대책을 세워주셔야 할 것 같습니다. 밖에서 누가 큰 소리로 떠들기 시작하면 답 없습니다. 1주일 숙박하면서 하루는 어느 여행객들이 저녁 11시 이후에 밖에서 큰 소리로 떠드는데 프런트 직원들 모두 퇴근한 시간이라 어찌할 방법이 없었네요. 솔직히 경찰에 신고할까 할 정도였는데 핸드폰을 집어들려니 그제서야 조용해지더군요. 아마 동네 분들이 나와서 제지했던 듯 합니다.
객실 내에는 카페트가 깔려 있어서 가구 끄는 소리가 들릴 이유가 없지만, 내측 침실에서는 위층 세면실 스툴 끄는 소리, 미닫이문 세게 여닫는 소리가 한낮에도 너무 선명하게 들립니다. 세면실 스툴 다리에 소음 방지용 접착식 펠트 버튼을 부착해두는 것도 방법이겠네요. 투숙 마지막 날 밤에는 윗층에서 새벽 시간에 음악을 튼 건지 노래를 부르는 건지 모를 소리가 2시간 내내 들려서 결국 외측 침실에서 잠을 청했네요. 건물 구조상 문제일 수도 있겠지만 이 부분은 투숙객들에게 주의하도록 신신당부를 하거나 호텔 관계자에게 도움을 청할 방법을 명시해 주셔야 할 것 같습니다.

2. 객실 인포메이션 내용과 프런트 인포메이션 내용이 다름: 객실 인포메이션 책자를 업데이트해주세요. 체크아웃 시간이 오전 11:00인데 객실 내 인포메이션 책자에는 오전 10:00로 되어있기도 하고, 6층에는 자판기가 없는데 있는 것으로 설명되어 있는 등, 몇몇 내용이 프런트에서 확인한 내용과 달랐습니다.

3. 생수병 미제공: 프런트 인포메이션에는 체크인 시 생수병을 1회 제공해 주시는 걸로 써져 있었는데 체크인할 때 저는 못 받았었네요. 직원 분이 의도하셨던 건 아니었겠지만 나중에 프런트 인포메이션 문구를 확인하고 조금은 아쉬웠었습니다.

4. 유사시 탈출 루트 안내: 취사가 가능한 숙소이니만큼 유사시 탈출 루트가 더 상세히 설명되어 있으면 합니다. 창문이 완전히 열리는 구조가 아니기 때문에 비상구 탈출만 객실 인포메이션에 적혀있었던 부분은 적잖이 불안 요소였습니다.

5. 풍압으로 인한 현관문 열림: 이건 제가 제대로 하면 문제가 없었던 부분이긴 한데, 첫 날에는 대부분 호텔 현관문처럼 알아서 잘 닫힐 거라 믿고 그냥 들어왔다가 저녁에 나갈 때 풍압으로 인해 약간 열려있었던 것을 확인했었습니다. 그냥 확실히 당겨서 문이 닫히도록 하면 문제는 없겠지만 투숙객에게 이 점을 설명해주셔야 안전한 숙박이 가능하지 싶습니다.

6. 건의 사항: 체크인 시 받게 되는 영수증 용지 형태의 객실 정보 용지는 개인적으로 다소 관리하기가 어려웠던 것 같습니다. 지갑에 넣어놨다가 다른 영수증들과 같이 버릴 뻔 했었는데, 가능하다면 조금 더 단단한 명함 용지 정도로 바꿔보시는 것이 어떨지 건의해 봅니다.

Pros:

La camera era molto spaziosa, con un piccolo angolo cucina con frigorifero e un bagno molto grande con doccia e idromassaggio. Le dimensioni sono ben oltre lo standard giapponese. Stanza veramente bella.
Al piano terra è presente una lavanderia a gettoni con diverse lavatrici e asciugatrici

purtroppo lo staff è presente solo di giorno, quindi di notte per qualiasi necessità non è possibile chiamare nessuno. Le stanza sono insonorizzate, ma non benissimo. Purtroppo siamo capitati in un corridoio con ospiti molto rumorosi...
