I will remember Lucerne for hospitality and the best cheese fondue!
Pros:

I appreciated the location! The staff was exceptional … even asked about family history as I have a German surname and I in turn learned some German history.

Breakfast was wonderful as was the availability of hot water and tea.

The free city pass provided an opportunity to ride the funicular to the Gutsh Chateau.

Excellent, perfect for our 1 night stay
Pros:

Perfect location 10 minutes from train station, checked in slightly earlier and no fuzz or complaint. The guy at the reception was exceptional, so welcoming and informative, if i owned a hotel, i would want him at front of house. Room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was excellent with good selection (including cooked bacon and sausages )
