Bathrooms are a bit small.
Great hotel, outstanding staff, excellent location, very clean and great breakfast and afternoon snacks. A must for any traveller to Zermatt.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw en kregen de nodige uitleg over het hotel en waar we terecht konden voor ons ski materiaal edm. in Zermatt. Het personeel heeft ons geholpen bij het boeken van restaurants en die waren zèèr goed. Het ontbijt is uitmuntend, de diverse soorten yoghurt, honing in individuele potjes (!), lekkere koffie, bestelling à la carte of van het buffet. De locatie is Top, centraler kan bijna niet en zoals overal in Zermatt blijft het zèèr rustig van verkeer.
What a wonderful and warm family style hotel we found here. Extremely friendly and helpful staff could not do enough for us each day. Breakfast was sumptuous and diversified. Immaculate property, rooms and all public spaces. A warm fire burns in the lobby every afternoon and evening.
I really enjoyed staying in this place nice hotel good location clean and the staff was very nice and helpful and they have the best breakfast hundred percent recommended and hope I go back one day
Everything was good except they have only one elevator and it takes forever, but I didn’t mind to take the stairs was a good exercise

I love this little hotel. The staff were terrific, the room clean and quaint, the breakfast very nice, great location. When we return to Zermatt we will return to Allalin.
We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect hotel! The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. They offered us welcome champagne, rides to and from the train station, helped us with ski rentals and tickets and were always available for questions. The room was clean, quiet, and the view of the matterhorn was stunning. The breakfast was delicious. The spa was a great way to relax after skiing and the use of the ski locker was a great surprise. The tv did not always work which was the one downside. The hotel was set in the perfect location for walking around town, shops and restaurants. The atmosphere of the hotel was the perfect after skiing upscale vibe. The price was resaonable for the accommodations! We can’t wait to come back. 10/10 would recommend staying at the Allalin Swiss Alpine Hotel!

We couldn’t have asked for a kinder or more hospitable staff. You can truly feel the pride they take in the property. The hotel is immaculate, with a brand-new spa and gym with modern equipment are a huge plus after a day on the slopes.
Location is perfect: an easy walk to town center or a quick free bus ride to the lifts. We also loved the daily afternoon drinks and dessert, such a thoughtful touch.
A perfect stay in one of our favorite ski villages. We’ll absolutely be back.

We stayed for 4 nights and honestly can't fault anything. The hotel is spotless, bright welcoming and warm in temperature and ambience. The hotel staff are there with a smile and so helpful. Some of the bedroom bathrooms have been renovated and are lovely and some are still in need of updating. The spa and gym are superb and again incredibly clean and well stocked. There is a lovely tea apres skiing and the breakfast room is bight and comfy with a fabulous choice on the menu. It is not cheap but good value and reliable. It is worth the money as it made our stay so easy. The only down side is the boot room is outside the hotel but really that was a minor irritation as the staff were so kind and accommodating.
