This day was definitely worth the affordable lodging.
Pros:

Excellent stay, excellent staff! Thank you for the hospitality. My mother and I got a great night's sleep and we will be back.

Would stop there again
Pros:

Clean quiet room. Staff was great to deal with. Great breakfast. The room had been smoked in and they could have sprayed it down to get rid of the smoke smell

Pros:

Overall stay was good. Room was very clean and spacious. AC worked great. Hallways were really warm, though. Free breakfast was provided right at 6:00am and had several options to choose from. Address listed was incorrect. Sent to wrong Super 8, Super 8 West instead of East.

Easy access from US 44. Minimal traffic noise. Short distance from restaurants. Inside access to room. Actually had more space and same amenities in room as more expensive hotels, just not as fancy.
Breakfast variety of bread, cereal, apples, juice, coffee, make your own waffles, yogurt. No eggs or meat.

Had a late check in but was greated by friendly staff upon arrival. Rooms were clean and quiet. Looked to have a decent breakfast selection before checkout departure but did not partake as I was in hurry.

NIce place to stay and very nice people working there
Pros:

The folks here at the hotel were wonderful. I left an important book of mine at the hotel. Staff found it and I sent a postage paid envelope to the hotel and they sent it to me, very quickly, I would have been lost without it. I cannot say enough good things about how easy the check in was and the room was comfortable. If I am ever in Amarillo again I will stay there. Thanks again Super 8

Clean & comfortable
Pros:

This place fit our need for overnight stay while traveling. As Wyndham members we got an awesome price. The lobby & room are clean and comfortable. We appreciated the simple breakfast.
We used our own flatter pillows as we cannot do thick pillows.

Pros:

The property does not have an elevator, the room had an old musty odor, there was no running hot water and the restroom lights were not working. We needed a room to rest and refresh before getting on the road again…this place did not meet our needs.

Pros:

it was in an unusual location on a one-way street, which made it harder for a stranger to get around. i wasn't used to driving in amarillo, so it took me awhile to figure out how to get to local eateries. in general, room was comfortable, and the fridge and micro made it easy to stay in and eat.
