Nice stop on the way to Kosovo
Pros:

The front desk associate was very helpful. They saved a parking space for us near the front door. There were a lot of good choices at breakfast. The star lighting in the ceiling and brick theme throughout were whimsical. Lots of natural light.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little dark.

Waren sehr positiv überrascht vom Gesamtpaket. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, tolles Zimmer, Betten groß und bequem, Frühstück Buffet mit breiter Auswahl. Lage top, Katzensprung zur touristischen Fußgängerzone und zur SH1 an der sich die Geschäfte/Marktviertel der Einheimischen befinden.

Cons:

Parken war für nordische Verhältnisse etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zwar gibt es direkt vor dem Hotel Parkplätze an der Straße - die auch "reserviert" werden ... aber naja;-)
Hat dennoch immer geklappt.

Fantastic location to experience Shkoder
Pros:

We had a big, beautiful room overlooking Democracy Square. The windows and curtains enabled us to shut out light and noise as we wished. The room had a fridge, kettle, and space for luggage and clothes. The staff were very friendly, extremely helpful, and kind. Front desk staff spoke English to us (and coached us on our Albanian), and for everyone else we got by with our basic Albanian. The location is very close to sightseeing, stores, cafes and restaurants, including pedestrian-only streets with outdoor seating. Our breakfast was included and was fantastic; excellent coffee machine, hot and cold food options including savory and sweet which changed daily, presented in a sunlit dining room. The hotel is a 20 minute drive to Shiroka and the lake, depending on traffic. Really excellent stay, very glad we chose the Red Bricks. Parking is available in front of the hotel, and while it's on a busy street the staff directed us and made it easy.

Cons:

Nothing not to like.
