Great Location and Friendly Staff
Pros:

Great location, close to the Brook Park train station, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a mall right next door. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use a little updating, but overall everything was good. The staff was very nice and friendly, and the breakfast was a nice bonus. I would stay here again.

Amenities, clean, comfortable and modern rooms.

Cons:

Was informed by the front desk that there an overbook and there was only one room left in the whole hotel despite doing a pre arrival check list one day prior to my arrival. Staff accommodated me and my family in the end, but it’s concerning this type of policy.

Pros:

Parking was good with easy access to the hotel

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing, and the front desk staff were not very friendly. The room had a strong urine odor. I called the front desk to request a room change, but I was told the hotel was fully booked. They offered to send someone to spray the room, but no one ever showed up.

The bathtub had visible mold, and I found several spiders in the room. Overall, the cleanliness and service did not meet expectations, making for an unpleasant stay.

I was led to believe they have a working hot tub. They do not. That was part of the reason my husband and I chose this hotel.

Great value.
Pros:

Staff was very helpful. Made great effort to attend to guest needs.

Cons:

Terribly understaffed. Perhaps this is the norm now but it’s difficult to watch one person manage the front desk, checking people in, taking calls, making rounds making sure the pool is maintained, while also making sure the breakfast is cooked and supplied.

Cons:

A deluxe king room was OK but being that the room wrapped around the elevator made it very noisy. Bathroom was poor with peeling paint on the soap dish and dated handles. Wouldn't dream of taking a shower there. Cable TV was primitive and impossible to figure out. Being 45 minutes early for check-in, was told there would be a $25 charge for early check-in. Not acceptable.
