The best Radisson I have had on the trip, from the reception Tyra took good of us , to the best house keepers the Ukrainian doctors.. breakfast 10/10. The German hospitality was at its best..

Wonderful stay & great service
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay! Kúrsat & Alina were so professional, gave great suggestions on what to drink and also engaged in conversations on a personal level which was phenomenal.

A good hotel with a good situation as well for the Lanxess Arena as for the city centre which is only 10 min by metro
Pros:

We stayed in the hotel while we were going to a concert in the Lanxess arena.
I had parking in the underground parking of the hotel (apparently from time to time a problem as I read in the comments). I asked in advance to book a parking space but that is not possible (while the parking is also a public parking)
Give your ticket to the front office and you pay only 20 €.
The reception was very friendly and helpful. We got a free update to a premium room with inner garden view. Room was large and very clean. Nice and very clean bath room with lovely rain shower.
We ate before the concert in the hotel. There is not a large choice but what we got was more than OK (Burger and Codfish).
From the hotel it is only a 10 min walk to the entrance of the Lanxess Arena. (If you want you can take the tram in front of the hotel but it is only one stop to the Arena)
if you take the metro at the Arena, you are in less than 10 min. in the centre of Cologne (Neumarkt-from there circa 15 min walk via the shopping streets Schildergasse and Hohe Strasse to the Dom of Cologne.)
Breakfast was more than OK with a large choice of cold and warm dishes.
(one point of attention : the choice of cold cuts is pretty limited)
So all by all : next time Cologne we take the same hotel.
One final point of attention : at 06.30 in the morning the background music in the hotel was already on. The hotel corridors open into the atrium where the elevators are. As our room was not that far from the atrium, we heard the soft music all the way into our room. On the other hand, during the night our room was really very quiet.

Wir wurden beim Check In von der dualen Studentin höchst professionell und sehr freundlich empfangen. Sie hat uns ein wunderschönes ruhiges Zimmer organisiert und ist auf alle unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Ganz großes Lob an das gesamte Personal insbesondere Alina am Front Desk. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

The staff are helpful and informative. The room was clean and had plenty of space for two people. The amenities in the room are good. Water, fruit and sweets are available in reception and there is a small shop where you can buy necessities and snacks

I travel a lot and this was definitely on the weaker side of hotels. Room Air conditioning was terrible. Even by European standards for AC, it was still bad. The room had a twin bed. Haven't been in a hotel that had twin beds in decades. I can see for kids, but a single room should have a queen at least. All of my colleagues also had twin beds. Adults shouldn't be sleeping in twin beds if the hotel is even slightly above average. Staff was nice though and room was clean. However it was definitely not a great sleeping experience. It was booked through my room so I didnt have a choice in the hotel, but if I did I dont think I would return.
