Prima locatie voor de doorreis!
Pros:

Ontzettend vriendelijke dame bij de receptie die uiterst correct was en heel goed Engels sprak. Ze heeft mij fantastisch geholpen met het omboeken van mijn boeking nadat ik zelf een fout gemaakt had.

Une bonne adresse au calme avec de belles et grandes chambres

Petit déjeuner très complet
Hôtel situé dans un grand parc, très agréable !

Great value for money, confirtable beds, great swimming pull
Pros:

the swimming pool, the bed was VERY confortable😍, the shower was EXCELLENT. Great location for the center of Lille, but bear in mind that when it’s the antiques market weekend,
there is no transport from close to the hotel as the bus only runs with a pre-booked system. Lille city is closed on this weekend for Parking and a Taxi from the only taxi service the hotel provides wanted to charge us €40 to the city center of Lille, which we declined. We only had the option for Uber and they never showed up. We had to drive and park near Ikea and take the metro to Lille.

Cons:

The carpets had smell of wet/humid. The dinner didn’t have many options and was very pricey. We forgot and adapter (we’re foreign) and the hotel didn’t have one or any other charger for phones, we were lucky to have a car and drove to purchase one. Also, we forgot hair brush and the hotel didn’t have any combs ot anything so we had to use the teeth of a hair clip to sort of detangle he hair, other than this, all good.

Comfortable, convenient and handy for Le Shuttle
Pros:

Stayed here before our trip back across the channel.

The room was big and had comfortable beds. Despite being on the ground floor, it was very quiet (apart from last night when one of the occupants in the room next door seemed to have been locked out and was knocking on the window). This was fortunately short-lived and we were able to get back to sleep.

We opted to have breakfast, which offered a variety of choice, both hot and cold food, and lots of healthy options too.

The location suited us too — it’s just over an hour from Le Shuttle and about 10-15 minutes by car to Lille. The car park is big and had plenty of space.

Cons:

This isn’t their fault as it’s an outdoor pool and it had rained heavily earlier in the day. It was a cooler August stay and had been raining, so there were some leaves in the pool - it would have been helpful to have a pool scoop (net). Despite this, we had the pool to ourselves, and it was heated so we were able to enjoy it.
