Fabulous Knipoch house hotel.
Pros:

The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff were warm, welcoming and informative.
We also love the history of the Knipoch house.
We have and will continue to recommend the Knipoch house hotel.

Cons:

We were unable to attend 1635 due to the high number of dishes containing alcohol, as I am allergic, we really wish we could have dined in this exclusive restaurant.

The property and grounds are beautiful and well kept

Cons:

I think it’s all great, I would like to be seated in the smaller dining room for dinner, rather than the breakfast room

Brilliant loved it there highly recommend
Pros:

Everything Tom was very communicative and had a very pleasant manner and Stephanie his mum couldn’t of been any nicer while Joseph from Romania spoke very good English and along with the others who unfortunately I cannot remember their names made the entire stay superb
They even made us some soup and bread to eat despite the very late arrival so hats off to the chef

Started off great, ended not so great
Pros:

A beautiful hotel with great facilities, we stayed for two nights - our first night and day was great, spending most of our time in the hotel. Food was lovely, drinks were great and we felt really comfortable and welcome. The hot tub is fab addition. One of the best dog friendly hotels I’ve stayed in. We interacted with a few lovely members of staff but then experienced a situation which changed our view.

Cons:

The second night things started to change, a random lady who we assume was the manager in her own clothes.. (or possibly owner wearing jeans & ankle boots) accused us of smoking in the property, which we did not as neither of us even smoke (!) and the feelings towards us completely shifted. We had spent the full day in Oban and this turned sour when we returned, which was very unfortunate. We didn’t want to spend any more of our money in the hotel due to this and didn’t receive any apology, so returned to our room after having a few drinks.

Great hotel!
Pros:

The hotel was in a beautiful spot facing a lake, the staff were brilliantly helpful and made our Christmas stay so happy and fun!! Very clean and comfortable rooms and the hot tub was great.

Cons:

The timings for the meals were very fixed, but this was understandable given it was over the christmas period.
