Beautiful room, comfortable and clean. Helpful staff and excellent food.
A little changing area at the hot tub would be helpful
Idyllic location, attentive staff, great comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent.
Nothing
Very friendly and helpful staff. Property beautifully decorated and cosy.
Nothing.
Cosy feel of the house
The breakfast was average
Breakfast good and a nice selection, but stayed a few days when quiet, buffet not out, but understood, but staff not explain if you required continental, to order it as not as good a selection as when busy.
Nothing to complain about.
I loved the feel of the place very old school, Scottish feeling! Lovely walk you can do behind the property to a nice lookout of the loch. The staff were lovely on arrival and very helpful throughout. Ps … best bed I’ve ever slept on SO comfortable!
The room got very hot, the window was locked shut so we had to go ask someone for a fan, but staff helped right away. The restaurant didn’t have much gluten and dairy free options.
Great location. Stylish decor in room. Friendly staff. Dog bed provided.
Lovely breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Relaxing stay.
Can't think.of anything.
Nice spot not far from Oban with lovely views
Loved the decoration and style, all beautifully done and immaculately maintained.
The manager who rectified a minor booking error (Louise), did so in a very professional and generous way, she was a joy! As was Morag during our breakfast.
The male staff definitely let the hotel down during our stay, from us being locked out in the cold on arrival and having to phone ‘head office’ to be let in, to the waiting and bar staff on our night of arrival. Overall it seemed like they either hadn’t had real training in the industry, or didn’t really enjoy their jobs, which was a bit of a shame.
Our dinner also wasn’t great, my venison ravioli, the pasta was thick and undercooked - I didn’t eat it, and told our waiter, who simply took it away without a word and no feedback/rectification after. My main course of fish was served on a cold plate too :(
Ps please make the dog friendly dining area a bit warmer in the winter, shivering during dinner isn’t a good look :)
Well kept, warm and cosy.
Nothing
Beautiful place, lovely location
The front door locked (5pm) and even when we were knocking nobody opened the door. We had to call them and after the lady on the phone informed staff from the hotel that we are waiting outside they let us in. It was cold, raining and snowing at the same time so we were not impressed. We were told that sometimes that happens. Maybe it would be worth it to check it frequently or do something to prevent it? Our room was booked with breakfast but staff who served breakfast were not friendly at all and we felt very uncomfortable asking questions about what is included and if there are any options for cooked breakfast.
Veey kind, helpful and cheery staff
Very clean hotel
Excellent food
Private use of the jacusi
Lication for visiting Seil Island
Perhaps tge jacyzi shoukd be free, as the room cost is quite considerable....one or two pounds sacrificed to give free access would be a nice generous and very welcome gesture
For the rooms facing the loch, the crunching sound of guest and delivery vehicles on the gravel forcourt early in the morning is slightly disturbing
