Comfortable and value for money
Bedside lamp didn’t work and receptionist couldn’t replace it or do anything.
A new pair of curtains would go a long way to improve the room

Very spacious room, plenty of towels, pillows, toiletries and tea/coffee etc.

Highly recommend “no fret” for morning coffee and breakfast.
Mattresses have seen better days, particularly the double was like sleeping on a rock. Could be benefitted even by just a decent mattress topper.
There was the sound of a fan running all night which disturbed our sleep.

Room was spacious but was disgusting! Thread bare carpets that didn't even join the skirtings. Stains everywhere including the ceiling. Furniture was horrendous one chair totally stripped of leather. Beds were stained and collapsed when you lay on them. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely fantastic price for a short notice break. The distance to the beach/seafront is closer than my local corner shop in my hometown so that was a major plus as well.

In my life I have never experienced a warmer room. I still can't understand it. We stayed in mid September and it was around 15-18 degrees. The window was open all night and yet the room was a sauna. No fan provided however when we asked the receptionist she went out her way to source us a small one. This made a small improvement. I can't even imagine how bad this hotel is in peak summer weather.
Hotel as a whole is also quite outdated and I wasn't impressed by being offered instant coffee sachets alongside a pot of hot water as part of my breakfast.
Cleanliness and staff were excellent.
Unfortunately no lift but we were forwarned and put on the first floor.
