Unsympathetic Business
Pros:

I reserved a one night stay at the Blue Iguana Inn with my daughter for her birthday with our family dog. Driving there with our Tesla from Los Angeles, we stopped at Thousand Oaks to supercharge. The supercharging ability of our car failed suddenly and I was forced to slow charge. The hotel concierge confirmed on the phone that there isn't any charging available at the hotel for electric cars. I told the hotel clerk that this forces me to turn back home because if continued the trip to Ojai, we would be forced to slow charge for at least 7 hours the next day to have enough charge to get home. This would clearly be cruel with my daughter and dog in the car on this trip. Despite this, the hotel clerk coldly said that we won't get a penny back from our reservation. What she doesn't know (because I couldn't have said it without breaking down in tears) is that my daughter hasn't had a birthday celebration in 3 years because her father got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, fought it best he could, and consequently passed away. This would have been the first time we did something special for my daughter's birthday. And the hundreds of dollars the hotel charged is significant for a widow. This review is all I can do.

Comfortable enough but really not worth the money for just a room.
Cons:

No food, or bar service. On a busy road and got charged for a drink they provided that exploded in the fridge.

Cozy, comfortable, stay on a beautiful property, great amenities
Pros:

Wonderful room, comfortable bed, great views, French doors were so lovely! We enjoyed the eve rental selection downstairs and the pool

Cons:

It’s a little close to the highway, if that noise bothers you, and it’s not exactly right in town, but those weren’t issues for us at all!

Excellent accommodations in Ojai
Pros:

My 2nd floor room was very large and had 2 terrific balconies. It was very clean without any harsh chemical smell. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I will definitely stay here again.

Centrally located with trails near by

Cons:

The pool, no towels available
The room was great but it would have been good for people staying to have few more basic amenities which you did not have to pay for such as water bottles, sugar, oil for cooking, some basic snacks for kids.

Pros:

Spacious and beautiful!! Staff was especially welcoming and all outdoor areas and extra touches, such as on site bike rental, and beautiful balcony sitting area added to the charm of this place. Would 100% recommend!!

Pros:

Building design and grounds very well done. Comfortable 2-day stay. Studio was comfortable. Liked the large kitchen. Room was quieter and more secluded than would have imagined given proximity to highway 33. Will return.

Beautiful property, great room, jacuzzi was wonderful.

Property was beautifully kept.

Cons:

Front desk person was not very kind or accommodating. She did not meet the standard for basic kindness so that could be worked on. But otherwise all was great!
