I wouldn't recommend staff is nice but quality of rooms are no bueno

I liked the staff was friendly.

Cons:

Ummm well theres alot to say but its an old motel and desperately needs upgrades, thats for sure. The first thing I did was use the restroom and the sink had a ear wick come out from the drain. The next day we saw was a roach on the corner of the bathroom. We wont return thats for sure and I recommend that you look elsewhere to rest your head until the company does upgrades and upkeep.

Our first of many visits to Colorado and this was a comfy place for us and the dog. We'll be back.
Pros:

We were visiting our daughter, so not at hotel much. Staff was very nice and friendly. Location was great for food and shopping. Room was comfortable enough for us and the dog. Building and rooms are a bit dated but everything functions.

Cons:

It would appear most people don't "pick up" after their dogs outside. The sliding glass doors are a little sketchy.

We had shelter

Cons:

horrible smell. Had to have sink unclogged. A bed was falling apart had to ask to get it fixed. After sink unclogged the tub was clogged

The breakfast area was horrible. Would not eat from there.
Screens ripped. Glass going to pool was cracked

Towels for the pool were filthy.

Good for one night of rest . Breakfast was typical Blah. Boxed eggs, sausage , no potatoes, .
Pros:

The location is central and easy to find. We chose this property because it had an outdoor pool. A rarity in the area. The beds and linens were excellent but the carpets were pretty gross but let me say I’m staying at a Hilton now it’s carpets are no better.
The pool is outside but it is poorly maintained and was very dirty. Sadly.

Cons:

Dirty pool that needs major maintenance.

We enjoy staying at this motel every time we decide to go to Canyon City and we would definitely come again. It was nice
Pros:

It was very comfortable and close to restaurants and anything else we wanted to do

Cons:

The only thing I found wrong about our room is the bathroom floor seems to have not been wiped down very well. Because of our feet were wet the dirt showed up and footprints of dirt. But everything else seemed to be very clean and kept up well. But you asked what didn’t I like so I mentioned bathroom floor could have been cleaner.

Terrible hotel.

The bartender was nice

Cons:

My room was disgustingly dirty-large stains on the carpet, stained bedding, stained/dirty bathroom shower. I refused the room and went elsewhere.
