This place is fabulous for when you want to be in the heart of things without the huge resort scene. Beautiful rooms with a courtyard pool area and swim up bar. Christian is fantastic and very attentive to all our needs. Nizu is an amazing sommelier and operator of the food and beverage experiences. Between Bar Esquina at the hotel and SUR beach you will enjoy fantastic food and atmosphere. We brought a large business group and everyone said it was one of the best ever. Thanks to Tonia and her team in the sales department for putting it all together. Juan Carlos and Eduardo at SUR will make sure you have the best time along with the whole team. Too many great people to mention them all. You will find it very clean and the lines and bedding were top notch!!!

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodating every request with genuine warmth. The rooms are beautifully designed, modern, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable.

The real highlight is their SUR Beach House. It is situated on the absolute best swimmable stretch of Medano Beach, offering incredible views, a fantastic atmosphere, and amazing food and drinks. You are also just a short, easy walk away from the marina and the town's vibrant nightlife, making it the perfect home base.

Whether you want to relax by the beautiful, serene pool or enjoy the energy down at the beach house, this hotel offers the absolute best of Cabo. We cannot wait to return!

Girlfriends trip. The place is absolutely beautiful!! Staff goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful, Front desk and reservations worked with us to resched trip due to an illness. It couldn't have been smoother. Definitely a 5 star resort.. It is not huge, a more intimate place, you feel like family.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Bahia and Sur Beach House for our first ever trip to Cabo. The hotel is extremely comfortable and the location perfect for our needs: just off the beach but also easily walkable to the marina district and local restaurants/shops/bars. The staff is outstanding and truly friendly, we had exceptional service throughout the stay.

Many will look for a hotel right on the beach but it would be a shame to overlook Bahia. The beach house is a short walk or complimentary cart ride away and we spent most our days with our feet in the sand, alternating between relaxing and swimming/floating.

The food and drink at the beach house, pool bar, coffee shop, and Bar Esquina are all delicious and a huge selling point. Finally, its central location allowed us to easily explore many other local restaurants. We will absolutely be back!

We had a very special trip to Cabo for my wife’s birthday. The Bahia was excellent, as usual, and treated us like family. From Cristian providing a warm welcome every day to Lilian helping me plan a special champagne delivery, the service was outstanding throughout our stay.

Our room was wonderful, clean, spacious, and comfortable in every way. Our dinners and breakfasts at Bar Esquina were excellent as well. We are already planning our next trip.

Excellent hotel with good service and at a good location within walking distance to beach. I stayed for one night and enjoyed the clean rooms and good aroma in room, staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is situated at a location that is nice for walking. Highly recommended! The rooms however do not have beach views but other than that it was excellent.

Bahia is a lovely hotel, very clean and attentive. The staff is wonderful! Sur Beach Club has some of the best food in the area. Drinks are pricey but we understand this is a tourist zone area, We live in the Riviera Maya so we were comparing pricing to our area. We were there scouting for a December 2026 wedding. Guests will stay at the Bahia Hotel and the wedding is offsite. Location is perfect and an easy walk to local restaurants and Medano Beach. We had some time at the beach. Beach is lovely, clean. We did not swim, but understand it's a swimmable beach. I think we are spoiled with the Caribbean, but enjoyed drinks and tapas at Sur Beach House. It is a great spot! The marina is close and an easy walk."Bar Esquina," inside the Bahia Hotel is lovely. Breakfast was included in our stay and ample. The vanilla conchas from the coffee shop are amazing! Looking forward to staying again at the Bahia Hotel in December.

Bahia is a great hotel! We had a wonderful time here and all of the staff were so accommodating! We especially loved the swim up bar at the pool & hot tub. Don’t forget to stop at Bar Esquina for drinks while you’re here!

Bahia also has Sur beach house you can make reservations for, it’s the best beach experience! Eduardo and Alfonso are amazing and always made sure we were taken care of, all of the staff are the best!

This was my third time at Bahia and there is a reason we keep going back. The staff is amazing— I cannot say enough good things about Christian and Raul. It is hard not to feel completely relaxed every minute during your stay. The hotel is very clean, the food and drink are amazing, and you can’t beat the location. I wish we could go every month.

Always a great time at Bahia! This resort is very clean and the staff is amazingly helpful. The Bahia has the best restaurant and their breakfast is the best start to every day. The rooms are very quiet, everything appears to be newly remodeled, and very taken care of. This was our 3rd visit and we plan to come back again this year.

Bahia is by far the best place to stay in Cabo! Everything from the people, to the food and cocktails, the amenities and esthetics…it’s all perfection! I compare every other place to Bahia when I travel. If you like to be healthy and feel healthy while on vacation, Bahia is the place to be. I Highly recommended!!!

We had the best time! Huge shoutout to the team they’re incredibly professional and just all around great people. It’s rare to find a place where the service feels this polished but still totally natural. Highly recommend!

While we initially enjoyed the location and overall property, our stay was ultimately overshadowed by a serious incident in which $2,000 was stolen from our room.

While the theft itself was extremely concerning, the most disappointing part of our experience was the response from front desk staff and management. Rather than demonstrating urgency, empathy, or accountability, we were made to feel as though we had done something wrong. We reported the incident immediately, yet our concerns were not taken seriously, and there was little effort to investigate, provide reassurance, or offer any meaningful resolution.

Due to the loss of trust that followed, we no longer felt comfortable allowing staff into our room and declined housekeeping for the remainder of our 4-night stay, which significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience.

For a property of this caliber, both the incident and the handling of it fell far below expectations. This experience raises serious concerns about guest safety, internal oversight, and how incidents of this nature are addressed. At no point were we provided with a meaningful resolution or follow-up.
We would strongly encourage management to take this matter seriously and address both the incident and their response to it, as it significantly impacts guest trust and safety.

Beautiful place. Excellent services, the staff is really on their game. Food is excellent though a little expensive. The town however is only a 10 minute walk so going to local spots that are less expensive is easy. Would recommend!!!

Ivan - First met Ivan when he was at the front desk, he made the check in process very smooth. Now he is at the SUR and his radiating smile (oh those dimples), with his exuberant service is hard to beat.

Juanjo, Moises, and Sandra - If you want to start your day with a big smile, and excellent service you will not be disappointed with the service they provide at the SUR Beach House.
