Old place, great customer service, amazing location
free parking, continued parking allowed after check-out
Creepy property. Smelly. Tiny, one person, elevator. Pillows were terrible. One small blanket and a sheet. Nasty bathrooms and showers.
I paid $255 bc I booked way early. I checked the week of my trip and it went down to $100 😩
Home away from home when we travel.free parking pleasant staff
Terrific location. Check-in was a breeze. Such a quaint establishment. Loved it!
I gu she
The lady who checked me in was very kind. The problem is the condition of the hotel. It can use an upgrade like yesterday, and the bath towels were old and hard as a brick! I am so happy that i brought my own towel. The place is not a loss, it just needs some TLC!
4 stars for a 2 star hotel in a 5 star neighborhood
Location and quiet. Shower dripping.
The front desk woman was nice the property was subpar. The medical bandage and ekg electrodes stuck to the shower curtain really sealed it. They seem to be remodelrng but the sense is spend as little as possible in upkeep. The smell as you walk in sets the tone. I hate saying it but this property should be removed.
Location was fantastic for access to all the great restaurants in Little Italy. The room was clean and updated, however the common spaces less so.
Staff was friendly. Located in a sketchy area. Property had very limited parking. Rooms were small and motel-like.
I loved the customer service very friendly office staff. The rooms were great and our cruise dinner port to meet was walking distance. Definitely recommend staying here if its for a night or two.
There was a cockroach at bathroom
I like the hotel, quiet safe and it’s new year for everything and there is a and there employee her name Gigi she’s the best
Parking lot has ~20 spaces, the property has ~40 rooms. The parking lot is one-way, no outlet, meaning you have to back out of it onto a one-way street to get out. If no parking when you get back, nearby private lot is $35 for 10 hours.
The elevator is 4’x4’, and the stairs are for emergency use only.
Requested a room with one queen bed, got two double beds. Did not hang “do not disturb” sign on door, but room was not cleaned during 2-night stay.
Perfect location
Nice
this is a nice hotel. ab it old, a bit motel-style. a bit dirty (not crazy dirty), this is a cheap option for those who want to stay in downtown in a walkable distance to bars/restaurants/station/ocean. so, recomended.
I’ve stayed here many many times over years. Great location. If you’re looking for something that’s a five minute uber ride to and from the airport. There’s a convenient seven11 less than a block away. There’s several restaurants that are a few minutes walk from the property. The property sits in a hill and when you exit there’s a really nice view looking down towards the harbor and Coronado across the harbor. I should warn anyone reading this that it’s very noisy (not the guests) . The planes flight path to the airport runs along side the property and the freeway is less than a block behind the building. There is a parking lot for guest with no charge. It’s first come first serve. Most hotels in the area charge $50 a night or street parking, which is metered til late afternoon. The building is an older wooden building with squeeky floors and a tiny elevator. It smells old. They do a great job at keeping it clean. But keep in mind, it’s very budget friendly. So you get what you pay for. Not necessarily in a bad way. The staff is friendly. There’s a middle aged woman that works the later shift who is just an awesome lady. Great personality and so friendly. Ive had the pleasure of being checked in by her several times in the past.
