Comodidad y buen servicio
Pros:

Habitacion espaciosa. Éramos dos adultos y un niño y nos pusieron una cama supletoria en la habitación.

Cons:

En general fue todo bien, pero para tres personas había poco espacio de armario y estaría bien que pusieran algún gancho o barra para colgar más toallas.

Perfect location for our Tokyo trip
Pros:

From the moment we entered to hotel to the day we checked out, the staff was just so kind and professional during our stay. Both the front desk and restaurant staff went out of their way to make sure that we got what we needed. The room was very clean and well appointed. We initially were concerned about the noise level staying in Shinjuku city, but it was never an issue for us. I would stay at this property again for my next visit to Tokyo. Highly recommended!

Almost Excellent
Pros:

This is a great hotel with a great gym. It’s a nice walking distance to the arts center complex. I found the reception staff to be excellent. I ate the breakfast at 2nd floor high end District. 1 breakfast great food and some of the best service I’ve had. 2nd day asked 3x for more coffee and water 2 people dropped the ball and didn’t bring. In there defense a manager was there that seemed to have them scared(I don’t like to see people scared). Finally an exceptional waiter recognized my frustration and nearly made up for the other’s forgetfulness. I cancelled my prepaid breakfast for the third day. Over all. 4.4

Excellent Luxury Accommodation in Shinjuku
Pros:

Definitely expensive but an Incredible experience all around. Beautiful building with fantastic modern rooms. Great amount of space for Tokyo. The breakfast was delicious each morning and the rooftop bar was an added touch. Good location, slightly out of the way from the heart of Shinjuku, but still plenty of transit and food options around.

Excellent stay ….. again
Pros:

This is my third time at the hotel, over the last 3 years. First two on business and now for a holiday. It was great to see some familiar faces and that the high standards of the hotel were maintained. Rooms are a good size for Tokyo and modern, with a high standard of decor. The staff are excellent- friendly and helpful. The free morning coffee and evening social were still there and a great bonus. Don’t forget the bonus of seeing the small dogs in their dresses and prams, a bonus of this dog friendly hotel ( but this doesn’t detract in any way). A great location, being less than 10 minutes from Shinjuku station and the hustle, bustle and shopping there. A great hotel with a great team.

Great stay
Pros:

Very nice hotel away from hustle and bustle of Tokyo but still in the mix of things. The hotel is beautiful and staff was very helpful. We had our complimentary coffee every morning in the coffee shop to start our day. The room amenities were very nice and the room was very efficient. 7Eleven about a 2-3 minute walk or a Family mart is a minute walk. Great stay

First Stay at Kimpton, Not the Last!
Pros:

I stayed at Kimpton Shinjuku in May 2026. It was my first time staying at any Kimpton. This was an excellent excellent stay and I will definitely stay at Kimpton in the future.

The room was big. The bed was huge -- bigger than a king. The view wasn't great -- the highway -- but it didn't matter because we weren't in Tokyo to spend much time in the room anyway. The room had really great blackout blinds. We also used their "pillow menu" to special order firm pillows.

The breakfast was great and starts early (630 AM), which is great when you're jet lagged and waking up early anyway. We also had drinks on the top floor bar and also at the 2nd floor lounge. Both were great for pre dinner drinks.

I was a bit worried staying in Shibuya but the actual location of the hotel wasn't terribly crowded. It was a 15 minute walk to Shinjuku station which was a little long but once you were there you could get almost anywhere with minimal connections.

The service was great everywhere. I think the value of the stay was also great. Highly recommend!!!

Ear plugs?????
Pros:

Be aware that this hotel provides ear plugs for a reason. It was easily the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.....the road and traffic noise at night was unbearable without them. It’s pretty ridiculous to need ear plugs just to sleep in what’s supposed to be a 4-star hotel. Next time, I’d stay at the Park Hyatt instead.
Also, take a pass on the strawberry buffet… it was a joke, to say the least.

Not the greatest
Pros:

I knew Mr. Kimpton back in the day and I don't think he would be happy with what IHG has done to his name. Location was quiet but at least 15 min walk to Shinjuku Station and all the action. I asked the hotel for restaurant recommendations and they knew nothing. Told me no sushi restaurant would also serve cooked food which was totally false. We found a great one on our own. Asked if they would mail postcards; they sent us to the convenience store; they sent us back to hotel!! Staff at Rooftop bar was not friendly. We had to beg to be seated (at opening) at bar and was told we needed reservations but, after 1 hour at the bar, no other guests were there. And the pours were REALLY stingy. Knowing how great his original hotels and restaurants were, I was very disappointed. HOWEVER, Adam (from Edinburgh) was a great help to us many times and deserves to be commended for his command of the Japanese language and helpfulness.

Very nice stay
Pros:

Excellent staff, helped us from moment of arrival. Rooms very clean, great views from floor 12. Very nice social hour, drinks and appetizers.
The Jones cafe- good coffee and lunch options. The District restaurant provides both a lounge and full menus, providing a lot of choice.
Nice quieter location, 12 min walk to the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku station. Reception staff arranged taxis quickly.

Overall Great Hotel
Pros:

We stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed it. Nice rooms with city view, great location, super helpful and friendly staff, and the convenience of a restaurant inside the hotel was very nice. I would definitely stay here when I go back to Tokyo.

Felt very lucky to have 3 nights here. What a treat.
Pros:

I really liked the feel of the hotel, friendly staff and quite small which I liked.

Cons:

If there was one thing I’d improve it would be the speed of service in the restaurant. Coffees took too long.

Outstanding experience
Pros:

Good: 15 mins walk from Shinjuku station. Decent sized rooms with luxury furnishings, PJs and towels. Took me three days to find the cleverly concealed fridge. Breakfast a la carte. Service good. Daily evening social with very good wine and canapes. They discovered it was my birthday and left a card and presents in the room, as well as congratulating me at the evening get together. One of the reception staff was really helpful in booking our luggage on to our next destination. Lots of English spoken. Dogs are allowed at dinner which was very cute.
Not so good. A bit tired here and there, such as wooden tables in the restaurant looking a bit knocked-around.
Highly recommended.
