The beds

Cons:

I walked in and the lobby is full of disarrayed furniture, cardboard and tape sealing parts of the floor. I was given the wrong room number when I arrived at 2:36am so I had to go back downstairs get a new one for the correct room on a different floor. The balcony view was very pretty but if you’re looking for what the pictures on line look like you’ll be disappointed.

I'm a rewards member & want to always use La Quinta while in Cocoa Beach...however...
Pros:

The breakfast was Great! The room was very clean! However, staff are the glue & face to a comfortable stay.

Cons:

The check-in front desk staff member did not smile, did not respond with a greeting when I said "Hello," and did not make any eye contact. This came across as unprofessional and fell short of even basic customer courtesy. As an RN, I understand firsthand how important it is to extend positive, consistent behavior to every customer. Front desk staff would benefit from customer service training.

It’s a fine hotel. They did nothing wrong. We just could not enjoy the property.
Pros:

The breakfast was good. The room seemed clean enough. Location was fine. No big complaints on the property other than the balconies. The pool was great.

Cons:

You cannot enjoy the balconies. The air conditioning units vent to the balconies making them practically unusable. You have hot air pouring out of the unit and with the noise you can’t even hear the ocean. Relaxing on the balcony and hearing the ocean was the thing we were looking forward to the most. We ended up leaving early.
