Pros:

The staff from the reception, bar, and maid for our room was lovely. The place was in an exceptional location, view from our room was the best. We loved our window s in the room to sit and look out at the street and hillside. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel facilities below were lovely, and we sat at the fire at night for our meal.
Loved it. It was a favourite by far. Would recommend and come again. Sainsburys was across the road, so it was easy to get snacks.

Cons:

Can't think of anything

Pros:

Central position in town centre was excellent. Free car park to rear.
Warm welcome on arrival. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. And the room was nice and clean by Anusha the cleaner.

Cons:

Poor reception on tv in our room. We were there only one night so did’nt really matter for us.
No other issues

Disappointing, over priced for what is on offer, tired and dated. Whole hotel requires an upgrade.
Pros:

Good location

Cons:

Very tired. Over priced. Basic bathrooms. TV over 15 years old internet not capable of streaming the channels. Heating didn’t work. First time Bookings rating has let me down.

Great location
Pros:

Very nice hotel in a great location, right on the high street and walking distance to cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. Big room (31), very comfortable bed and very quiet, even with the window open. The staff were all very nice. Car park on-site (around the back), but space is limited. Loved that our dog could stay with us. I would stay again.

Cons:

Pillows could have been 'puffier' rather than flat and a bit hard. Dinner in the restaurant was poor quality. There had been a problem in the kitchen that day with a gas leak, so that may be why, but I would not eat there again.

Pros:

Central location, nice bar.

Cons:

Had a double room with a window towards the rear for one night. Early Monday morning it was rather noisy with barrels / empty bottles being handled below the window.
