Pros:

Well located in a busy parade within Chipping Norton; right opposite the wonderful Art & Talking art gallery. The breakfast has a pretty good spread.

Cons:

The acoustics/sound proofing between rooms could be better.

Excellent location, but costly low quality breakfast
Pros:

Ideal location. Bed was comfortable. Heating was good. Shower was good. Generally facilities were good

Cons:

Bed duvet was not clean and clearly very well used, however sheets were clean. Shower spilled into bathroom floor. Breakfast was £15 each on top of the price paid for the hotel. Lots on offer for breakfast, but excessive and not good quality. Some cooked food was overcooked and bacon was undercooked. Staff were relatively ok, but trying to find staff in the morning particularly was difficult. Not much on offer for evening meal. Property inside quite outdated

Wonderful old historic hotel, great staff
Pros:

Great Central location for visiting Stratford-on-Avon, Oxford, and surrounding areas. Lovely old hotel, great atmosphere and wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us. It was my husbands birthday, and he was treated like royalty. Our 4 poster bedroom was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the bar after watching the rugby. It was good honest bar food, very tasty! And breakfast was also great and lots of it! We would throughly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Cons:

Its a shame the pool is closed. Would be a great asset.

Location was great. Parking was limited and we had to find alternate parking one night

Cons:

Being woken up at 8am by the fire alarm was a drill that we wasn't made aware of and the bed was very squeaky couldn't move for the noise
