It’s close to everything and very clean! Beds could be a little more comfortable, but they are OK!
The thermostat doesn’t appear to work. The heater blew cold air all night long.
Wonderful feels like new in a perfect location boutique hotel! I have been visiting Glenwood Springs my entire life and always stayed the Hotel Colorado as my great great grandfather’s company were the carpenters contracted to build the hotel. This time, with a family of my own we wanted something with more space, newer and closer to restaurants, etc. We made an excellent choice! One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in through our travels worldwide! Great amenities, easy parking, amazing space. We will return!!!
This was our second stay at Maxwell Anderson. Absolutely love this hotel! The rooms are designed so well, the cafe is great and the brewery is amazing! Can’t beat the location. You can walk around to all the shops, hot springs and restaurants.
Love the lobby behind checkin.
We had a room that smelled musty and unclean. The window was to the lobby but couldn’t open to get fresh air and the musty smell out. We have stayed her before when it was The Denver Hotel and loved our rooms. Have always disliked that you have to pay for parking. Will probably chose to stay elsewhere in the future as this has not become a good value.
Elegant , refined. Classy while retaining some cherished relics from the former Denver Hotel. Conveniently located across from Amtrak station.
King size bed, modern rooms with brick walls! Mini refrigerator. Coffee, bottled water, luxurious robes, excellent staff. Very accommodating.
No microwave. No vending machines.
The interior of the room was great. The decor, the bed was perfect, and the room even smelled good.
I paid extra for a Mountain View and did not get a Mountain View. All we could see was the very top of a mountain (more like a hill) over the back of the building. Very, very disappointed. Wasted money.
The hotel lobby is wonderful! Great art and ambiance.
