Good location and good value even tho it has a few drawbacks
Pros:

The location is perfect, right in downtown and close to most places we wanted to visit. Bus stops are also nearby, so if need to go to some places a bit far away like Butchart Gardens, it's also very convenient to just take a direct bus.
The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

The room's soundproof is basically nothing. The facilities are quite old and the fact that there’s no AC really makes it less comfortable during warm days.

We had a great time in Victoria and the Inn added to our enjoyment
Pros:

The location is great - walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.
Enjoyed the restaurant - food and ambiance

Cons:

An elevator would be great, but understand that it would not be possible to install one.

We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our time here. It was in a great location. The hotel staff were so welcoming and helpful. We loved that check in was at 3:00PM instead of the standard 4:00PM and free parking was a bonus.

Location was great for walking to different places

Cons:

The menu in the cafe seemed a bit dated. Breakfast in particular should be updated to include items such as fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins and the like. Breakfast items were pretty much variations of cooked eggs plus other cooked items

Good quality and well priced hotel - really enjoyed my 2 weeks stay and would / will stay again!
Pros:

Great hotel located near to downtown with quaint and old fashioned elegance. Food and inn (bar) service of good quality and value.

Cons:

For older people with walking disabilities the lack of a lift could be an issue.
